| Yes, what coromandel is right, if we can investigate some of the players, but we cannot really confirm anything since it's a no reveal game, the only thing we can do is try to cooperate. And your reasoning would make perfect sense for a "normal" mafia game, where role and alignment of a player are revealed after death. But in this game, we need to come to terms with the fact that no one can be confirmed townie/mafia. We *have* to trust each other because roles aren't revealed. Lynching should be done after as much information as possible is gathered to find potential mafia members. In this game, the amount of information we get is limited (no reveal). Investigators have access to more information than the other townies, and therefore are essential for the town to win. If we don't use their abilites/trust them, we are limiting our possibilites. The alternative - not trusting ppl who claim to be investigators - would force us to vote for someone at random, and that isn't a good strategy IMO. |
