| Here is some things I've just done around the forums -Made an event creation and tracking thread, if were going to get serious about these things we must make the right platforms and stuck the thread -I destuck the suggestion thread, basically discontinuing it. No one has posted on it and I don't think it will be in much use going forward anyways. Especially with the new thread that i just made taking up several of the potential suggestion. -I've added Steam Officers to the staff wanted board. Most likely when we find the right people will promote anyways but might as well try to see if we get lucky and someone's interested. -As for my constant opponents on bringing in new staff to the guild. I would also like to put on notice that I don't want to burn myself out or anyone else on staff to burn themselves out by doing too much. We should be always looking for new staff, especially in our growing phase, and to share in the duties of the club so that we all can make this place a great center of entertainment on MAL, but not to the expense of your own fun. We are a team, and are team needs to grow if we want to build this club through quality because quality takes work. My Perfect Staff situation would consist of(officers=admins a well) 3 Main Officers in the Art Department 4 Main Officers in the Steam Department 3 Main Officers in the Group Watch Department 2 Main Leaders 1 Officer on Newsletter duty and that is not even including the weekly or seasonal threads that we run in the club. One day this club is going to have 1000+ members. It will happen and we should think [U]big[/U] |

While having more staff is definitely something we need to look into I think with a low activity rate it will be hard to find anyone interested in the first place. This is something we have to try and figure out first, imo. Newsletter duty This is something I've had in mind for a while but was shot down bc people didn't want to advertise on peoples walls. If we want to reconsider this idea then I'm all ears. |

I'd assume it's the same concept but only for people who actually sign up for it, like regular magazine style publishers? |
| If it's only for sign-up then I'm all for it (again, as long as I don't have to do it). 3 is definitely overdoing it. 2 would be fine though. And I wouldn't mind watching stuff I don't deem good, and besides I like pretty much all genres or at least the majority of them and I plan on doing variations of genres. There's no genres I dislike it their entirety. |

| Here's something that needs to be talked about. Should Shigatsu be disallowed as an option to vote for the anime of the season as that anime gets to be the layout and that would be two straight seasons with Shigatsu as the layout. New Layouts mostly serve to bring a new freshness to the club and having the same show for two seasons doesn't satisfy that. Though if it is the best of the season then can we really deny it that and if so should the second highest with votes get the layout to keep with the basis on why new layouts are made and we always can still keep it as best anime of the season on the bottom. |

| If it wins and doesn't get counted then there's a possiblity that some members who voted for that will feel like their vote doesn't count. So, if we are going to include it in the vote then we must also include it in the option of a layout, imo. |
| So i talked to speakss and both votes have moved to 5(Hibby,Sean,Fate,Speakss,James)-1(Shap) The Final Decision: Shigatsu will allow to be in the voting for anime of the season but will not be allowed to be the layout for 2 consecutive seasons. Instead it will go to the runner-up This will carryover to future 2-cour shows as well. This also applies to the default picture on our club page for character of the season |
