You know, for about a year I kinda got into some of that because the rock world was really bad at that point in time. I got most of my songs from Monstercat(they only had like 100k subs back then too, now they have like 1.4 million) if you heard of them. But lately I feel rock has been picking it back up and my interest in EDM, Nu Disco, DnB. It's just not there right now. I feel like it's a fullback when I don't have anything new.

Some more Vocaloid songs:

Gumi (UtsuP) - Let's Ride the Happy Train [Japanese] [Vocaloid]
Hatsune Miku (don) - Monochrome Pastel [Japanese] [Vocaloid]
Gumi (psycho) - arachnoid [Japanese] [Vocaloid]

A bit heavier stuff this time. :)

Hmm, since Sonata Arctica is releasing new album soon I thought I would up the topic and share one of their older songs at the same time ^_^

Don't say a word

and this one is great too! ^_^ 8th Commandment

They are one of the most successful Finnish bands out there, in case you were interested, and one of my favorite bands ;)
Love Sonata Arctica. White Pearl, Black oceans... is by far my favourite song from them, simply amazing. Perhaps it's time to add to them to my playlist again...

Wow you listened to Monstercat? Thats awesome, I really like what they upload and get most of the EDM I listen to from there, though i got to know Monstercat when it was at about 800k subs. I still really enjoy it and get most of their CDs. One should be coming out soon, im looking forward to it. Its good to know someone here knows/likes Monstercat

This week in music was okay, mostly on the alternative side that is.

Black label Society-My Dying Time

The Catacombs of the Black Vatican, damn that sounds evil and I love it. To be honest I have not been a fan of black label and this is the first song that I've actually liked from them. 9/10

Blue October-Sway

The lyrics are kind of boring and some feels misplaced with the rhythm, but it's still an okay song. It's been a really long time that I've heard anything out of blue October to the point I thought they broke up 6/10

Magic Man-Paris

Synth rock in my opinion sounds very similar and there isn't much difference between bands in the indie scene. So it's basically all on the lyrics and lead singer that makes the sound and I'm a fan 7/10

White Denim-At Night in Dreams

I found this band last year and I'm so happy that they aren't a one hit wonder on the Hibster's radar. They have a very soothing throwback 70's sound, stoner rock groove. 8/10

If anyone's into vocaloid music, then you should listen to some of Nightcore stuff.
Gravity

I wanted you to be the last thing on my mind
I wanted you to be the reason i close my eyes
But I can't sleep
And oh God I wanted to be your high
But everything I said it went unheard
And everything you saw with eyes straight blurred
Became our downfall

So since I've been striking out lately on finding any new music and since there was a steam group that was opened last month, I will post my 5 favorite Civilization 5 peace themes in no particular order, expect the first one. That's my fav.

1. Askia of the Songhai Empire

I am Askia of the Songhai. We are a fair people - but those who cross us will find only destruction. You would do well to avoid repeating the mistakes others have made in the past.

2. Catherine of Russia

I greet you, stranger! If you are as intelligent and tactful as you are attractive, we'll get along just fine.

3. Wu Zetian of China

Greetings, I am Empress Wu Zetian. China desires peace and development. You leave us alone, we'll leave you alone.

4. Haile Selassie of Ethiopia

A thousand welcomes to our fair nation. I am Haile Selassie, the Ras Tafari Makonnen and Emperor of Ethiopia, your humble servant.

5. Kamehameha of Polynesia

Greetings and blessings upon you, friend. I am Kamehameha, Great King of this strand of islands

It's been awhile since I posted music, it's been awhile since I've found a good load of music to post. I guess I'll start with the best.

KONGOS- Come With Me Now

It's always nice to hear something fresh, and even though this song has already been seasoned they recently they were signed by Epic Records and they re-released this song and I don't mind being late to this party because this is a 10 out of 10 song in my books.

Royal Bliss- Turn Me On

Doesn't measure up to the first song that I found from these guys but it still a decent song so I'll stick around but hopefully they produce something with more of wow factor soon. 6/10

You Me At Six- Room to Breathe

I love the simplistic beauty of the music video, as for the song. For my first song ever listening to this band it's all right. There's nothing that really stands out to me. I'll give it a 7/10, but the music video is a 9/10.

Bad Seed Rising:Hey Kid

Saying that this song is made by a bunch of teenagers, they show a lot of potential and I'll be looking forward to future developments. Hopefully they don't go all poppish when they graduate/leave high school. 7/10

Jack White-Lazaretto

Typical Jack White producing quality music. His tank clearly isn't empty. There really isn't much to say but a nice 8/10 to add to his several other great songs

Nothing More-This Is The Time(Ballast)

Now I did post this song on rate this song but I like this format more because I'm posting these songs to try do my part to get these songs out to anyone looking for a rock fix in a radio world filled with pretty much only top 20 songs that getting tiring as fuck. As for this song I really love the guys vocal level in this song. The opening is kind of tease if you were thinking this was going to be some soft alternative song. The only thing this song is missing s a guitar solo. I feel it really needs it man so it gets a final grade of 9/10.
