| so..i was quite shoked when i watched episode 2, since MAL says that this will have 12 episodes....if we´re lucky...we ae only going to watch up until the enforcers arc.. that sucks... | Based on numbers it has a lot of people watching so far, but then again that's just on MAL. It could very well go either way at this point. I'm putting my money on split 2-cour for now. |

| I can't even count how many anime are said to have up to 13 episodes and THEN get 2nd season several months later. Medaka Box isn't your typical fighting shounen or ecchi harem (or food fight anime) for the creator to immediatelly know it will get popular. They probably want to test its popularity and how it fares against competition. Anyway, nothing is lost and if it's popular, then it will certainly get more than 12 episodes. |

| Judging from the audiences reaction I'm sure their is probably a season 2 planned. 12 episodes isn't long enough to even get to the main parts of the series. It will probably be split kind of like how Fate/Zero or Baka and Test is etc etc. Just short seasons like season 1 will be 12 episodes and season 2 another 12 or possibly 24 or some other number. Pretty sure it will get another season this show is actually pretty popular right now for being new so just got to wait and see. Season 1 barely started so we should just focus on waiting for new episodes and enjoy that and worry about season 2 later! |
