Fairy Tail
| Most of the manga readers regard Grand Magic Games as the absolute best arc in Fairy Tail and with such universal praise I'm sure most of us anime-only peeps will likely share the same opinion very soon. So just interested, how would you rank the Fairy Tail story arcs so far? 1. Laxus/Raijinshuu Tribe arc 2. Tenroujima/S-class arc 3. Phantom Lord arc 4. Galuna Island arc 5. Tower of Heaven arc 6. Lullaby arc 7. Oracion Seis arc 8. Edolas arc Let me explain, the Laxus arc was really adrenalin rush all throughout, this arrogant self-centered b!tch wants to take over the guild for personal reasons and turns it into an all-out riot! I especially like how he turns it into a tournament and boils it down to the strongest (Erza, Laxus, Mystogan, Natsu, Gajeel). Like most arcs, it ends with a twist with Mystogan looking like Jellal (as if the opening didn't spoil this already) and Laxus being a Dragon Slayer himself. Tenroujima is another great arc that deserves the top spot. I'm always fond of tournament and competition arcs so the idea of FT members going up against each other again, I was very much thrilled. The twists in this arc went from minor (Cana's secret, Mest's identity) to much bigger things (Hades' identity, connection with Zeref, the 2 additional Fairy spells, Acnologia) Edolas arc was such a disappointment, started out with a great premise: the concept of a parallel world with scarce magic source and with character counterparts. It went all downhill from there, the story gets draggy, the fights became boring ( only Erza's was good!), and Mystogan just disappeared on the series without getting a chance to shine. What a waste of a good mysterious character. I won't even comment on how cheesy was Natsu's final fight with Gajeel and Wendy. |

| Rank 1: Tower Of Heaven Arc (Reason: In my opinion it had the best story and fight scenes of the series so far, Grand Magic Games has some great fight scenes and an interesting story. But in my personal opinion, this arc set the bar high.) Rank 2: Fighting Festival Arc (Reason: One of the most action packed arcs of the series, not only that but it revealed so many new plot twists such as the true identities of both Laxus and Mystogan.) Rank 3: Phantom Lord Arc (Reason: This arc in my opinion, was the start of Fairy Tail's golden age. Such great story telling and it made the other Fairy Tail members more likable as they helped against PL's invasion.) Rank 4: Tenroujima Arc (Reason: It was most certainly an interesting arc due to it's test theme. It somewhat reminded of the Chunin Exams from Naruto considering it was a test to be higher ranked which later got interrupted by new antagonists that have history with some of the main characters. The reason it's not higher is because...well....out of any arc in FT that had "Nakama Power"....I felt like it was at it's worst in this one.) Rank 5: Galuna Island Arc (Reason: I'll be honest, I did not like Gray at first. I'm not sure why, but I just didn't care for him whatsoever before this arc. Once I finally got to this arc however, it made me actually fond of him and respect his character. Also the flashbacks with Ur/Ul really made this arc shine with deep backstory.) Rank 6: Oracion Seis Arc (Reason: Not entirely sure why, but I just didn't like this arc that much. The fight scenes were good and the villains were enjoyable, but something about the story not only felt slow but...lacking at the same time. Even so, the actual antagonists ended up feeling underwhelming after their build up, especially considering they share the same name as one of the most badass group of villains in Rave Master.) Rank 7: Edolas Arc (Reason:....I just...didn't like this arc. To me, it felt slow and the fight scenes for the most part were just lame. The only fight scenes that were memorable would have to be Erza vs Edolas Erza and Dragon Slayers Vs King Faust. It wasn't just the fight scenes though, I just didn't like how fighting an entire kingdom that was fight for their own beliefs to feel so underwhelming. But I'll give this arc credit for one thing, it was extremely well done when giving out emotional moments.) Rank 8: Lullaby Arc (Reason: Well, it's not really fair to judge this one. It was one of the earliest story arcs where the main plot was still weak growing, which is the reason why I'm not going include the Duke Everlue Arc and Finding Macao Arc in this because they're all too early, and the fact that those two arcs are extremely short....even when compared to Lullaby. But overall, Lullaby was a solid arc for an early one, it was also a great way to introduce Erza.) |

| 1. Grand Magic Games Arc (ongoing, also I read the manga. I can't imagine it being screwed over) 2. Tenroujima Arc (someone mentioned FT members against each other, yeah that really pumps me up 2) 3. Laxus/Festival Arc (the reason above + thunderlord tribe and Laxus are awesome + Mira awakening her power again <3) 4. Oracion Seis Arc (because we finally see some members of other guilds) 5. Phantom Lord Arc (war between guilds, awesomeness, better knowing other members of FT) 6. Tower of Heaven 6. Edolas Arc (as you can see, I loved all 3 arcs the same, and just because they are so low on this scale I don't found them bad, but if I need to choose they would be in this order) 6. Lullaby Arc 9. Filler, Clock arc (far worst arc in FT, except for the ending---> it really shows it's not a part of the manga) Of course this is all my opinion. |

| 1. Tower of Heaven It was a great story in my opinion. I loved the history of Erza and that's how I finally start to love her. 2. Tenrojima/S-class The battle between the chara's is very nice. It also contented most of my favorites. The new friendship and just the feeling that they really were together and cared about each other. I mean that's what Fairy Tail is. Caring about friends. 3. Phantom Lord You will learn new characters or get to know them better. It shows the best bond between Natsu, Gray, Lucy and Erza. 4. Oracion Seis The meeting of new chara's from different Guilds is nice and the way they work together. Including Jellal <'3 5. Galuna Island I love the history behind the main characters and in this case Gray. Besides I think the story was really good. 6. Edolas It was nice for as long as it took, not very special. I liked it to see the opposite of the chara's. And the Dragon Slayers against the king but nothing very wonderful. 7. Lullaby this was the beginning. How the four mains/five mains became friends and that's really funny I guess. 8. Key of Starry Sky I stopped watching anime/Fairy Tail during this arc so I think that says enough. I really dislike it and I'm happy that it was a filler. |

| All the Fairy Tail arcs after the Lullaby arc were memorable and very good. Nevertheless this is how I would rank the arcs if I have to. 1- Fighting Festival arc 2- Phantom Lord arc 3- Tower of Heaven arc 4- Tenroujima arc 5- Edolas arc 6- Galuna arc 7- Oracion seis arc 8- Lullaby arc |
| The Grand Magic Games arc is flipping amazing right now so I'll rate that number one. Second is definitely the S-class exam arc (Tenroujima). After that I remember I liked the first part of the Edolas arc, like when they were meeting all their counterparts. The Laxus arc was also very good, as is the Jellal arc... Tower of Heaven I think it was. Lastly, I also enjoyed the Phantom Lord arc because we got to see the dynamics of Fairy Tail and how close they actually are. I don't really remember anything else... It's been a while since I marathoned the series. |

| I dont think I can rate most arcs against eachother, because the non filler arcs all have been good in their own way. However the grand magic games arc truly stands on its own. Maybe it is due to the never-ending filler arc we just had, but I am loving every single second of the current arc. The characters personalities are great, the fights are fantastic, and the humor is simply amazing. This arc embodies everything I love about fairy tail and it doesnt stop. I watched episode 159 about 4-5x and almost teared up just by watching Lucy perform Urano Metria, and I always feel incredibly happy when the intro starts. If I have to rate this arc now, it will be 10/10, and I can not imagine it ever getting better than this. If I truly have to rate the arcs though it will be something like this: 1. Grand Magic Games 4-5. Phantom Lord/ Zeraph-Class S 6. Edolas 7-... Rest |
| 1 - Grand Magic Games(10)(Even though I hate how lucy lost to flare due to cheating by flare's guild but still awesome.MY favorite arc of this anime) 2 - Tenroujima arc(10)(Just epic,one of the coolest arcs) 3 - Phantom Lord arc(10)(One of the best arcs about friendship) 4 - Tower of Heaven(10)(This is one of the most epic arc I have seen in this anime,Erza x Jellal is so cute,ending song were awesome) 5 - Beginning,finding macao arc & Duke Everlue arc(9.5)(This is where I started to love this anime,lucy & all other cool characters,so awesome) 6 - Fighting Festival(9.5)(I love competition in anime) 7 - Edolas Arc(8.5)(Loved their edolas forms,although it became boring sometimes but still liked it very much) 8 - Galuna Island arc(8.5)(Pretty nice one,loved gray's back story) 9 - Lullaby arc(8)(Good but not as good as others) 10 - Oracion Seis(6.5)(Was greatly bored during this arc) 11 - Clock arc(6)(one of the worst ones,the only thing I liked was how Michelle was shown to be a doll,the only heartwarming moment) |

Phantom Lord (9.5) The first time meeting Juvia. 5. Tower of Heaven (9.5) Many heartwarming momment. 6. Edolas (9) Funny arc and awesome momment from Happy. 7. Introduction (9) The momment i fall in live to Fairy Tail. 8. Oracion Seis (8) Love the battle. 9. Key of Starky Star (7.5) Funny arc. 10. Galuna Island (7.5) Erza and her kya. 11. Daphne (7) The only thing that saved this arc is unision raid between Gray and Juvia. 12. Lullaby (6.5) Only showing how destructive are Fairy Tail. |

| I'm personally not updated on Fairy Tail, I only watched up to the Eclipse Celestial Spirits arc, so this is incomplete. 1. Edolas arc (The most interesting arc for me, I watched Fairy Tail just because my brother told me about this arc) 2. The Battle of Fairy Tail arc (This one is also awesome, you don't often see folks from Fairy Tail fighting [seriously].) 3. Oracion Seis arc (Seeing people from different guilds team up to fight a common enemy is pretty badass) ^^^ Those are my absolute top 3, now for the rest. 4. Tenrou Island arc 5. Grand Magic Games arc 6. Lullaby arc 7. Galuna Island arc 8. Tower of Heaven arc 9. Daybreak arc 10. Macao arc 11. Phantom Lord arc 12. Eclipse Celestial Spirit arc 13. Key of the Starry Skies arc 14. Daphne arc |

Zerø arc (Mavis too cute) 8. Loke arc (many feels) 9. Lullaby arc (pretty good introduction) 10. Edolas arc (little too long) 11. Tartaros arc (mixed feelings about it) 12. Sun Village arc (not that exciting) 13. Galuna Island arc (disappointing start of the series) 14. Grand Magic Games arc - 2nd half (sooo sloooow) 15. Daphne arc (it was okay for a filler) 16.
