so many japanese sources are saying that Arslan Senki Fuujin Ranbu will only be 5 episodes , even MAL listed that , but are these sources trustworthy ?

Afaik the first season covered 4 volumes from the novel out of 14 volumes, so there is enough material for more than a season.
Mal is currently listing the number of episodes as unknown, so if they did list it as 5 before then it was a mistake.

anime isn't made out of novel. it is made from manga by Arakawa Hiromu

Anime went ahead of the manga, though. 2/3 of it was adaptation of novels. And I guess new season will adapt two books - Shadow of a Lone Rider and A Frenzy of Dust.

It is because another "short" anime sequel that starts in August 2016: Nanatsu no Taizai: Seisen no Shirushi lists the same time and TV channels to air (TBS or MBS Sunday 5:00PM). Since the official site for Arslan Senki sequel is not clear about what they are going to do with the schedule crashing yet, many people think that this "season" will only have 5 eps. Though it is possible that the anime will continue after Nanatsu no Taizai sequel ended airing (on September).

Edit: It seems like my guess will probably be correct for it will have 8 eps. total and the rest of the eps. after July broadcast (3 more eps.) will probably be aired in September (My guess:
July: Arslan Senki-> August: Nanatsu no Taizai -> September: Arslan Senki).

Edit 2: It seems like it's:
July - August: Arslan Senki
September: Nanatsu no Taizai
Instead.

Yes.
Arslan Senki Sequel: July 3-August 21 (final date according to the ep. count and Nanatsu no Taizai Sequel start date) w. 8 eps.
Nanatsu no Taizai Sequel: August 28-September 18 (final date according to the ep. count) w. 4 eps.

(Since there's already 2nd season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans announced to air in the season following these two on that specific timeslot (Sunday 5pm on TBS or MBS) the two shows has weird episode counts, which are just scheduling problem).
