You have so many good ones in there! 5 centimeters, xxxholic (one of my favorites for nostalgia's sake), and Nanoha were awesome. Totally recommend them.

Natsume Yuujinchou Shi - If you enjoyed the first three seasons then you'll enjoy this one as well. I felt that Shi far exceeded its predecessors in emotion and (possibly) action. Definitely a great season. c:

You should watch Tsubasa, I loved it. I think someone on this page recommended xxxHolic and they are in the same universe so I'd watch them back to back.

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai and Steins;Gate are a must watch. Oh, and you don't need to see ChäoS;HEAd to enjoy Steins;Gate. They don't even revolve around the same plot.

Vocaloawesome,
Your list only has three PTW, none of which I've watched, but I've read Chobits, and it was pretty decent, and I've heard good things about the anime, so I'd suggest Chobits! :D

Gungrave - Just great all around.. characters and story.. has it all
Terra e... - Loved the story here and characters
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - Hilarious
Outlaw Star - Classic.
Natsume Yuujinchou - Great story, really good at portraying emotion of characters which makes for an interesting watch

Since you seem to like Shaft's style (judging from your Madoka Magica and Bakemonogatari comments), I'd recommend giving Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei a try. Full Moon wo Sagashite is a good magical girl/shojo series with great music, if you like that sort of thing.

@Unibomber189
Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoshitsu. Great movie. But wait, it looks like you haven't seen and don't plan to watch the main series. You NEED (ok well you don't have to if you reaally don't want to, but it's highly, highly recommended) to watch the series first to enjoy the movie to its fullest.

@quukii
Baccano specials answer some minor question from the series, so if you liked baccano you'll like this just as much; Howl's Moving Castle was brilliant imo :D; I haven't watched cowboy bebop and evangelion yet, but considering the hype around them, it should be sick :)

Grave of the Fireflies-- Hands down one of the most important movies ever, something everyone should watch.

Mushishi-- Fantastic collection of beautiful supernatural stories filled with magnificent imagery.

Sakamichi no Apollon-- Your probably waiting until after it finishes, but yeah definitely watch this, it is pretty amazing.

Serial Experiments Lain-- Reality bending surrealism at its best.

Grave of the Fireflies. Just watch it now. High chance you won't regret anything.

I'd recommend 5cm/s as well, but its quality and enjoyability really depends on your taste and perspective.

@judojon
Bokurano. Definitely. Just one thing: Be really patient when watching it. The good stuff only happens after episode 12.

Cardcaptor Sakura. I don't see any reason why someone who watches a lot of anime should miss this classic one. :) It's like a 'everyone must watch this' kind of anime, regardless of its quality.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 - A very realistic series that depicts possible real-life situations. Coincidentally was made prior to the terrible tragedy that hit Japan not long ago. Very humane and teaches us how much family can matter in times of emergency.

Hotarubi no Mori e - Great animation and a great storyline, especially for a short film. I gave it a rating of nine, although it's probably closer to a ten.

Sankarea - Can't really say much about this one. The start was pretty good, and as a huge zombie fan myself I enjoyed it a lot. In the most recent few episodes I've seen though, I've found myself tiring of it and not continuing to watch it every week. I'm under the impression that it's meant to be a 'fanservice' series, but I guess that's not really type. ^^

I will recommend both @scuttlemouse and @FastWheels (as I was starting on Scuttle's and realized FastWheels had posted)

@scuttlemouse
S'up Scutt.
Bakemonogatari - One of the wittiest and most entertaining animes I've seen. Although debatable, I believe it's one of SHAFT's greatest works and that you'd enjoy it having seen Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. The dialogue and cast of characters are the show's strongest points.
Durarara!! - Easily of the best anime to come out of 2010 and I can assure you won't be disappointed. It's certainly an enjoyable watch with tons of lovable characters and an interesting and unique storyline.
Kuragehime - One of the more different animes you'll come across in your time. Simply, it's cute and funny.
Neon Genesis Evangelion - It's called one of the greatest animes of all time for a reason. Mindblowing and great, although it doesn't appeal to everyone. If you have some interest in the psychological, drama and mecha genres, you will probably enjoy this very much.
Suzumiya Haruhi no Shousitsu - This movie totally makes up for the endless eight we all had to suffer through. I couldn't recommend this enough.

@FastWheels
You haven't got a lot on there, but I will recommend Sakamichi no Apollon. If you liked Cowboy Bebop, I believe you'll enjoy this too. It's Watanabe's most recent work.

Eureka 7 - Some elements of this show remind of a much lighter evangelion. Great animation and mech battles, some romance and a bit of comedy.

Evangelion 1.0/2.0 - A faithful but divergent interpretation of eva. Most of the angst has been boiled down into action or lighter character development. Watch in HD the eye candy is awesome. The end of 2.0 is one of the most awesome moments in the whole eva franchise.

End of Eva - watch this now. makes more sense and explains the ending of the original series. 25/26 take place in shinji's head, EoE is what is happening physically. An emotional journey.

FMA - Well explained universe and character, exciting fights but some (good) filler.

Monster - Watch this now. NOW. A huge cast of great characters, a slow, intense pace with an amazing protagonist and antagonist. If you like psychological thrillers, you have no excuse not to watch this.

Trigun -It's a lot of fun. Very solid comedy/action that grows more serious towards the end. Touches on morality issues.

I'd recommend GTO : insanely funny anime, too bad there's some filler along the way and the manga isn't the same (it's even much better), but it's surely worth a look.

Welcome to the NHK: also very funny, more dark humor and drama, but nonetheless great anime.

It's a good thing I've already seen it then.

As for your PTW list:

Baccano - Entertaining high-octane action
Azumanga Daioh - entertaining slice-of-life comedy
Bakemonogatari - Great psychological series
Hanasaku Iroha - Excellent slice-of-life
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica - Great mahou shoujo
