| The conqueror of this Spring season I'm expecting will not go above this list; Steins;Gate Denpa Onna no Seishun Otoko Hidan no Aria Nichijou Hana-saku Iroha In case of Steins;gate, I just hope Nitro+ jinx is broken... (It's already broken by Madoka Magica, though) I wonder if Hidan no Aria will be able to follow Infinite Stratos' success. A-channel will do almost guaranteed cult-hit, as saki did. |
| Still nothing truly great or unique. Nothing on the level of Cowboy Bebop, not even a Code Geass. I'm getting pretty tired of all the mediocre "normal highschool student" cliché ridden claptrap. What is going on? I didn't think they could come up with a season lamer than Winter 2001 but they did. I'll take a look at the following: Toriko - what happens when they animate Iron Chef. If Tiger Bunny is as lame as the last "character placement" Subaru made the mistake of supporting, this trend won't last long. I drive a Subaru, I love the company. What were they thinking? Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi - This might be amusing. . . . might . . . Showa Monogatari - Sounds intriguing. 30-sai no Hoken Taiiku - Sounds hysterical. Hyouge Mono - Count me in on anything historical. X-Men - Iron Man wasn't all that good but Wolverine is pretty good. I'll give X-Men a try too. STEINS;GATE - Sounds interesting. Guess I should finally finish Chaos;Head. Appleseed XIII - I'm in. | What looks promising: - [C] The Money of Soul and Possibility Control - Anime Original story and the synopsis sounds cool - Ao no Exorcist - PVs are nice and I like the cast - Deadman Wonderland - Interesting story. Not looking forward to Romi Paku, but I like Kana-chan. - Steins;Gate - It sounds cool, but I've not heard anything good about it's predecessor, Chaso;Head - Sket Dance - For some reason this reminds me of Bakuman - Moshidora - Kana Hanazawa + Sports; can't be that bad - Hanasaku Iroha - Seems to be a cute, happy SoL And I'll also give these a go: - A Channel - It's either going to be adorable or stupid - Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai - Sounds like Honey and Clover meets Welcome to the NHK - Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko - It could be cute, but it looks generic - Hyouge Mono - This will be either fascinating or boring - Appleseed XIII - Hopefully the CGI won't suck - Hidan no Aria - A definite maybe - Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai - Do I really want to watch another harem...? Toriko is also a possibility, but the synopsis and picture makes it looks so lame. :P KamiNomi S2 only if I become extremely bored and have nothing else to do. |
