So short, yet so beautiful. This isn't the sort of art-style that works within many areas. Yet here, it just works. The music as well was great and only added to it. One of the many reasons why art-films are my absolute favourite is because of how they are capable of conveying through symbolism. This one is no different.

This is quality content
Subjectivity is a joke on MAL. If you implicitly bring in subjectivity in your counter argument, you've already lost the debate. Also this website is a fankid infestation , have pity on those kids by ignoring there quotes as they have absolutely no clue what exactly is going on.

This is an amazing movie, short, simple, yet manages to invoke emotions and messages.
Each cube represents parts of one's life, while the rising water represents time.

What a beautiful movie, looking forward to the manga adaptation of the flashback arc. I can already see the foreshadowing for the Water City arc, very relevant.

A short and simpler version of Pixar UP

The backgroud with the "cloth" style is very interesting.

I don't know if this is considered anime.

It's beautifully crafted. Such a sad and lonely atmosphere.
Based Certified.
I love anime armpits.

It gave me depression. 10/10
jokes aside, the point is time quickly passes away and things will not return to where they were before. The old man was a kid living with his parents, he grew up, falled in love, married, had a kid, grew old and his wife died. now he lives alone and throught the events in the movie sees his live a distant memory.
Basically, cherriesh every moment right now cuz in the future you might look back to this point and reminescent about it.

If rilakkuma and Kaoru is an anime, then this is an anime. Maybe I should have watched this more than 24 hours after RDNDOBGS... I felt sad that this didn't make me cry. It is an amazing silent short film... but it just made me sad. No intense emotions or anything.
BEASTARS Season 3 will be the best anime ever :)

Is it because of global warming?

A short, simple and beautiful film.
