I am pretty hyped for this. Great to see young Thorfinn again for a little bit as well as some action. But, we also see that present Thorfinn is still remembering the pain he has caused to others.

It’s a really good addition for Thorfinn’s nightmare. Ultimately doesn’t add much which is probably why they didn’t include it in the actual show but it’s a nice addition nonetheless.

This short is actually amazing and well done! It made me emotional too...
The animation, music, direction, everything is just fantastic in Vinland saga 2 so far.

I have question over this

Is this really a preview for the 6.5 special episode for next Monday or this a an actual short episode for Vinland saga? I was kind of confused about what was this about

Even just an extra 2 and a half minutes of Peakland Saga is satisfactory. Thorfinn's past will never stop haunting him.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Beautiful short film, Mappa shines even with an ONA

Yeah lmao, I half expected the kid to turn his head and have Einar's face in the last few seconds.

This animated short could potentially be a glimpse into one of Thorfinn's nightmares from earlier in the season. One of the children looks a lot like a young Einar, which demonstrates the guilt that Thorfinn feels for his viking past and why he was ashamed of his past with Einar. With the timeskip at the end of episode 6 it seems that Thorfinn was eventually able to get over his guilt/PTSD and now considers Einar a friend. MAPPA is doing a splendid job with this anime adaptation and I'm excited to see where this season goes from here.

i guess they cannot fit this to the actual episode because of strict runtime of TV anime episodes

What a big let down? Nothing but farming and drama?

Season 1 was epic and lots of action. How did it go from Action to Drama?

A massive disappointment!

This is kind of like a fan service to the KIDS who only watches Vinland Saga for the beefy actions and jacks off to seeing grown men fight to the death.

The kid above me is the perfect example of that. Of course, these pathetic little fledgelings would not understand the cinema that is PEAKLAND SAGA
It’s time to ditch the text file.
