DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I figured it was going to happen after he 'kidnapped' her but in the end even the people on Eriko's 'side' like Uchida are only using her to further their own self-interests (or at least that's my cynical take). That her simple dream, which itself was almost forced on her, can be so easily taken advantage of by anyone in the industry means she's always going to be a plaything to these people. This is sad as fuck. Even after she sings her song the bringer-of-bad-news narrator has to butt-in. Poor Eriko-chan. But damn, I must admit the evil characters are the most interesting |
