| I loved the music, and the video was unique, I've never seen anything quite like it. "Oh gravity, I find myself so drawn to you. You feel so strong, but someday I'll fly free." is conveyed really well when instead of spiraling downwards as before he floats up. It felt as if though we were going down a black hole along with the character of the video, and it got crazier and more convoluted as time went on. Very interesting concept! |

"Oh gravity I find myself so drawn to you You feel so strong but someday I'll fly free" I interpreted that as something related to death, being finally free from this earthly world someday... These lines also have something to do with mortality: "If only we can never say goodbye" "It's only just a part of being alive" "I wish that I can fly to where you are" "Oh gravity I've fallen into you again Oh gravity I find myself so drawn to you It seems so right yet it seems so wrong What would you do？" 重なるお別れ 力強く手を振る 心が重すぎて 落ち込む気力さえない (farewell shake hands vigorously my heart is too heavy I don't even have the energy to fall) Oh gravity I've fallen into you again Oh gravity I find myself so drawn to you Oh gravity I've fall in love with you again It seems so right yet it seems so wrong What would you do?" Gravity here could be interpreted as:
But I know the meaning of the song is more on the positive side if you focus on these lines: "We saw a world begin we saw the end we saw the night This time we're gonna see the light we're gonna see it shine So smile ‘微笑み' という翼を開いて (Open the wings called 'smile') 雲を抜けて空を飛んでゆける (Pass through the clouds and fly in the sky) So smile" But then "This time we're gonna see the light we're gonna see it shine" could have more than one meaning.
