Just Before Reading The Spoiler, What Do You Think Will The End Up Together ?

So, the raws for the final chapter (chapter 82) of the manga just posted online today. Just do quick search on google for "Koi wa Ameagari no You ni raw scans" and you should find a website with all the chapters that haven't been translated.

Anyways, here it goes:

I'm just hoping now that the finale episode of the anime will do this incredible adaptation justice (no seriously, if you read and liked the manga, you would understand how impeccable this adaptation is thus far, even if it did skip over some unimportant stuff). By the looks of episode 10, it seems like this anime might even go an anime-original ending, which I approach with cautious optimism ;)[/quote]

I was hoping for them to end up together but after watching the ending of the anime and knowing how the manga has ended ty BTW @AsT5 I have to say that I feel content with how they both are trying to pursue their paths again. I'm happy with the ending , a realistic approach I would say.

Your title sentence : "What Do You Think Will The End Up Together ?" makes absolutely no sense.

I guess he means it more from technical side.
I really makes no sense if you take answers into account.

If you ask "what" you need to bring some subjects while answering. Example below.
Question: What do I need to prepare if I want to bake a cake?
Answer: Flour, sugar, eggs....

In this case, "do you think that x and x will end up together" would be better choice of words.
I'm watching anime since 2012. I also play games, sometimes.

Don't bother me if you want to 'become friends' or things like that.
It's tiresome. I know you just want to collect some meaningless numbers.

I was hoping they'd end together. But the ending made sense and was great.
Loved the anime adaptation as well. Beautiful.
Its still left open so in the end, I think they will reunite and rekindle and end up together.
Fave series of 2018 and def a top fave manga of mine, wish it wasn't such an abrupt end though.

Here after watching episode 1.. definitely glad it ended the way it did, a relationship of almost 29 years difference is just hard to imagine. The manager will die of old age most likely when she's in her early 40's.. and the basis of the relationship is not that strong. Will continue watching just to see how the story develops tho without the romance.

It's a sensitive a responsible guy... like most manga protagonists...

The serie was quite odd for me, I read some chapters after finishing the anime, and it has some pretty moments, but nothing to die for, and the ending even if realist (I was imagining this could be a possibility since the start) did is quite hurried (if you are going for a sour ending let us enjoy it, let us see how he breaks Tachibana -and my- heart), that way we will feel something instead of the "really?" that I got after this chapter...

I will still remember tenderly the ep7 of the anime, gosh that scene justify the whole anime

My neighbors are an age gap couple. They met when she was younger and then they got together after like 10 years. So now I kinda think there really isn't an ending till someone dies.

Good assessment. Knock up the hot babe and make her a stepmom. I don't want to hear that responsibility and age gap bs.

Last I checked they don't even have it in Japan. That's why they're going extinct over there. (Jokes)

^ Daaaamn, these characters were a highlight of the show for me. That's a pretty awful (albeit non-cliche, which is good) outcome.
The ending of this series is a bit depressing, but I guess it encapsulates the idea that "life goes on" and that happiness/optimism might not be permanent.

I just finished reading the ending of the manga, to be honest there is a bit of pain that they don't end together

However, the ending of the manga is open-ending, so I think the readers can make their own stories in the end

and if the author makes an ending that they end together, I'm sure this manga will come under fire because of age-different relationships, like a manga that has a similar story, namely UD

but for me it doesn't matter that love is different in age, because according to love there are many forms, right?

I have just had a look at the final chapter

As I expected, they did not end up together. (Age gap too wide)

But here is the thing...along life's road we will meet a lot of people who will put a little something into our lives. A little something of love, mentorship, guidance, belief in oneself, friendship, kindness, solace, etc etc

That perhaps is the message of this manga and anime series. It was not meant to end in a happily ever after, it was however meant to show us that there is, after all, sunlight after the rain, light after the darkness, and even in the midst of the rain, there is always someone with us.

That's the lesson from this series. Make of it what you will.

Finally finished this manga. Had it on hold since there were only scans up to chapter 56 back in 2018. Loved it all over again. It wasn't just a generic romance 😜

I knew they wouldn't get together since it would take at least an additional 100 chapters to sort through the drama of parents disapproving, ex wife disapproving, son coming to terms with her being a second mommy (lol), friends disapproving of the relationship, etc issues that come about...but I'm ultimately most disappointed that for a romance manga, there was no romance lol.

Even the side ships utterly failed and it's rather sad to see Yoshizawa change so horribly as a character, going from an infectiously upbeat character with good grades to a completely depressed, dejected character that is failing in his studies and has no plans forward in life. I understand it makes a great contrast against the main characters that have now decided to look forward to a brighter future, but it lacked explanation. He rejected his friend's confession and in the process lost her as a friend, but this also somehow convinced him to stop pursuing Akira. It's certainly realistic to headcanon that he regretted his decision to reject her and thusly got depressed and abandoned other aspirations, but the problem is that the author spent 2 chapters making up "what if manager-kun was actually a 17 year old" instead of giving even a few panels of closure for the coworker side characters

Still, an enjoyable series with an ending that is technically good, but just has a bit of a seinen tone shift in comparison to a very light hearted shoujo feeling manga up to this point

I can't help but feel like the ending was rushed out. The last few chapters sped up like crazy (tf was with Kondou's schoolboy fantasy taking up 3 chapters?), Yoshizawa's personality did a 180 and he was given no closure, Kase's plot cut off suddenly (even if it was already in the background), and a lot of plotlines just got cut off with no continuation. Yamamoto never shows up again after confessing to Haruka, the sudden introduction of that young author whose name escapes me is sidelined and pretty much forgotten about save for one page of an extra epilogue, and the contents of Akira's letter never being revealed being a few examples. Was this series canned or did the author just want to leave you with a feeling of dissatisfaction?? I'm glad Akira got her happy ending and Kondou made the rational decision to not pursue her so that she could pursue the dreams she abandoned, but it just feels like such a sudden ending overall.

I agree also it is rushed out and that it is more of a canned rather than leaving like open ended.. I think the author want to move on other manga. Also to be honest, it would be nice if they end up together since this is a manga, it can be "manga-fied"
