| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This chapter nailed what made Rui such a bad character. Of all the characters in this manga she is the one who is most like Nagisa, and she is horrible. This manga goes out of its way to show how Nagisa's arbitrary honor code makes her different. Rui had to be made ridiculously evil so that Nagisa could appear to be good. So many issues got pushed under the rug when they could have been addressed here. Rui could have made a great addition to the cast while still providing an antagonistic role. This could have been handled so much better. |
