I tried White Album and couldn't really get into it. I dropped it after about 7 episodes. It just wasn't holding up for me. |

I suggest Akage no Anne, since it's one of the first real slice-of-life anime (if not the first) ever made. And it's awesome. ^^ |

If dealing with terrorists through ethically questionable means (i.e. taking prepubescent girls from the brink of death, brainwashing them, and arming them with cybernetic implants as well as high-power firearms) and being burdened by your conscience is your definition of slice of life, by all means, throw it in. |

I don't know about Gunslinger Girl. It does have some SoL in it, but hmm... Well, there are also other anime in here that aren't really SoL, so I guess it's fine. |
