Gin Ichimaru (市丸 ギン, Ichimaru Gin) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Bleach created by Tite Kubo. He is the former captain of the 3rd Division in the Gotei 13 of Soul Society. His lieutenant was Izuru Kira. In the most recent character poll, Ichimaru placed 5th.

the chapter of Gin releasing his Bankai was soooo amazing i was nearly crying of joy. the only reason Ichigo is still alive is because Aizen didnt want him to die yet.
