Dir en grey is a Japanese band formed in 1997 and currently signed to Firewall Div., a sub-division of Free-Will.Originally part of Japan's visual kei movement, Dir en grey has opted for less flamboyant attire in recent years. Dir en grey was preceded by the independent band La:Sadie's which included four of Dir en grey's later members before it disbanded.

hey, new to the group, how come theres not so many members, i would have thought loads more people like dir en grey. I'd say marrow of a bone is the best album, im kinda obsessed with the deeper vileness at the moment, although basically all of their songs are awesome.
they came out with two sorta best of albumbs maybe or everything from whatever to whatever and a 2nd the same way. i think for dir en grey fans this would be something good to have.
Can't believe I never thought to look for a club for Diru. I'm surprised there are so little members - Dir en grey are much more popular than this. Pretty much everyone likes them or has at least heard of them if they are into anime.
I don't think I'd be able to decide their best album, I've listened to Marrow of a Bone so many times now though. =p It might be that for me.
