History
Anri Katsu appeared on the industry scene in 2001, when Yuusuke Ito announced his retirement from voice acting. Through open auditions Katsu-san was chosen to replace him as the new voice of the character Takashi Akaboshi for GIZOKU, also joining its seiyuu unit G.I.zoku. The group disbanded a year later. (Official G.I.zoku Website)

He studied voice acting with seiyuu Kazuhiko Inoue and B-Box Actors School, a training program through Genki Project. Anri Katsu's debut anime was Spiral ~Suiri no Kizuna~ in 2002 as a random student.

At the end of 2005 the seiyuu band Revolver was born, and Anri Katsu joined the first month of the New Year. The unit lasted only until Christmas 2006, and their final stage performance was called "White Night". The final post on their official blog at Animate TV was written on 01.07.2007; the blog "Very Very Revolver" has recently been removed from the internet. The group did not release any albums. However, Katsu-san still remains good friends with the unit's leader, seiyuu Norihisa Mori. (Official Revolver Fansite)

In 2010, Anri Katsu made his live-action movie debut in Daisuke Namikawa's film Wonderful World. Soon after he was also featured in En -enishi- also with Daisuke Namikawa and seiyuu/singer Kishou Taniyama.

Current News
At present, he is the singer and lead guitarist for the indie rock band big fat duck. Performance announcements are updated at Katsu-san's own blog, as well as rehearsal news and images.

He is also a part of the seiyuu charity group Seiendan, and most of his current musical endeavors are as guitar/singer/songwriter to help support Japan after the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

He has recently been heard reprising his role as Daiki Sendou (仙道ダイキ) in the sequel series Danball Senki W.

Also, look for his voice once more as Motoharu Tsuchimikado (土御門元春) in the feature film of Toaru Majutsu no Index coming in 2013.

I didn't know much about him though, that's why I was kind of reluctant to join the club. I'm just kind of good at finding news that associates with seiyuu and wanted to share if Katsu-san's involved.

And I realized after posting it that the "Special Corner" is a tokuten included in the DVD or BD of Guilty Crown (Vol.3?).

Thanks for letting us know, tsubasalover! I'll have to give it a listen; I'm so behind-the-times with seiyuu news right now! (~_~;)

Could I perhaps persuade you to STAY a member of this club? Instead of joining, posting, leaving all the time...

There's apparently a special corner after main GUILTY CROWN RADIO COUNCIL because the staff wants KajiKaji and Kayano-san (Rotating Personalities) to get along better. Sample

@hlwar: It's ok, and I'm sorry about that. I realized it after each new ep. got updated.

Anri Katsu is on Facebook and if you also have an account, his cross-posted Tweets, some posts, and band photos are public view. ♥

Sorry, tsubasalover, but I had to delete your comment about Katsu-san being a guest on the Guilty Crown Radio Council because you hot-linked the show's image. Since you did that instead of uploading it yourself, and they alternate the images for every episode, it's no longer a picture of Anri Katsu.

For those still interested in the program and his appearance, please visit: Official Net Radio.

Thank you for letting us know, though. I'm sorry, too, that you decided to join only to post that news and then leave the group - we're such a small club and every member counts. :(
