I was recommended to watch claymore by Netflix…then this show sucked me into a black hole. I really love the tragic setting of the claymore and how brutal the world they live in, that it barely gives anyone a break. I thought the relationship between Raki and Clare is meant to be mirroring the one Clare had with Teresa, maternal and sibling like. But then the kiss caught me off guard and I was shocked to see this sudden change of their relationship. I hate this so much, and with so many characters dying, why can’t he be one of them? He went in preaching how Clare should not kill the one who took the life of the one who cherished her most is the stupidest thing ever. And then professing his love to her?? Is this a trope that professing love to someone will change their mind on achieving their goal? Sorry for the extreme long rant, but since i cannot find an outlet to this, I am glad this forum or this club providing a space for this voice.

Raki is such a DUMBASS! He's totally useless, he slows down Clare, and he sides with that bitch Priscilla! At the end when Clare is about to kill her, Raki goes in front of her and stops Clare! WTFF (What the F***ing F***) She should have just plunged her sword through both of them!

he's one of those idiots who want to protect XX, yet end up being protected - because they're so damn useless and don't even bother trying to get stronger. he can't duel for jack, so what's he doing when he puts himself in front of clare? being a freaking hostage. jeez.

@sorsha: Raki definitely deserves to be killed. He knows what Priscilla killed the person Clare loved most and yet he's still defending her. If he loves Clare as much as he says he does he should've let her kill the bit*h! (pardon my language)
