Studio 4°C is a Japanese animation studio founded by Koji Morimoto, Eiko Tanaka, and Yoshiharu Sato in 1986. The name comes from the temperature at which water is densest.
They are known marrying the spirit of independent festival animation with a more mainstream anime aesthetic. In addition much of their output is considered superflat with some artwork from Morimoto being featured at Takashi Murakami`s exhibitions.
Besides larger productions like Animatrix, Mind Game, Memories, Spriggan, Noiseman, and Steamboy, the studio has also produced a number of filmlets, video clips and commercials.
There have been rumors of new anime of Berserk just based on that pictures that were leaked in the web.
my pick is that the pictures seems to be screencaps of a Berserk game, and someone made up the news to play with us all. I hope I am wrong in this though.
It is one of my faves too, that's why I got excited when I read it was slated for 100 episodes and only found 10! ;(
Anyway, I will look to see what happened, as soon as I finish scrubbing the toilets...haha! A dirty job but someone's gotta do it.
Yes, I read somewhere that ~Kimagure Robot~ was slated for 100 episodes, all shorts, btw, and we only got what, ten? I will look it up again. It is a funny and entertaining little series, for sure.
Is there any proof so far? I would really enjoy to see this series animated by this studio and different sites mentioned that before but since there isn't any affirmation till now I am not sura if this is some kind of fake... =/
