First Squad

To be clear,I am reviewing a music video and not an anime.

The song is a Russian rap song and so it happens that I can speak and understand Russian.

This song isn't the typical rap song that most of us used to from North American culture.It is not about sex,money or showing off but more about his life and maybe some history.He says "Thank you mother you gave birth to a son Moscow thank you" - "Our victory" and remember this and remember that.

I didn't really get what he was talking about.I'm being dead honest.
The song itself isn't that bad,personally I'm not a big fan of ... rap\hip-hop.

If you like rap you would like this clip.If you like both rap and Russian you would love it.

[This review is spoiler free!] TL;DR: It is a promotional music video. It's not terrible, but not life-changing either.

I decided to watch this music video because I had taken an interest in the series and figured I wanted to know what exactly I was getting myself into. Considering it is a 3 minute long video accompanied with Russian rap, there isn't much I can properly review.

It does a decent job of getting you intrigued into the show. Seeing as the MV came out before the anime, it is like being able to see a glimpse into the director's head, which is something you don't ... see often in today's anime community. However, the song itself anything you'd consider adding to a playlist, in my opinion. In theory, the idea of creating a music video before the anime itself is very unique and fresh, especially for 2005.
