Information March 7th, 2009 (for the US) had the afternoon of doom. The MAL server crashed and for hours, we believe it was just some page errors with "just refresh this page and everything will be okay". A few hours later we got the page that usually shows in maintenance, saying that it will be back in a few hours. People went to #myanimelist, neopets, facebook, gaiaonline, ect... to find a MAL substitute. Most of us, nearly killed. But luckily... it only took 27 hours. And MAL came back around 6:15pm (US pacific time) on March 8th, 2009. But there were aftermaths... Some lost Friends, all messages were deleted, and the important recent forum topics DIED (that means those pets in the "Show us how you look like"" thread are GONE).
