Also, please note that when writing out the names of the couples, the lady's name is always written first, no matter what order they appear in the picture :) ; and if multiple couples from one property make it onto the list, they will all be grouped together for convenience.
So, all that said, here are my current top-favorite canon couples! :)
...And, actually, pretty much *every* final pairing in the Fruits Basket manga is awesome, so all the rest of those, too! :) (Under the following spoiler button, due to being even more spoiler-tastic than most of the rest of this list-- seriously, I'm not kidding, there are some pretty major spoilers here!-- and also because there's simply so many, LOL. :) )
(^ And yes, I know-- I almost can't believe I'm putting that last one on here myself. (^_^;) I mean, don't get me wrong, Claire is an absolutely fascinating character-- however, he's also a rather insane, solipsistic {and also rather terrifying on occasion, though in a twistedly logical way O_O } killer with a massive God complex...! O_O The thing is, though, despite all of that, the Chane x Claire romance is just so bizarrely, unexpectedly adorable and sweet that I just couldn't help including it. (^_^;) )
(^ ...Though with the note here that there are certainly aspects of Kuze's character that I don't like (^_^;) -- however, their relationship and how she saves him is quite good. :) )
(^ And while I love this movie, don't even get me started about that super-open ending >:/ -- my head-canon says they kept their promise to find each other again, and that's that! :P :) )
(^ Though, again, there are certainly aspects of Araragi's character that I don't like-- and I also unfortunately cannot recommend the series to everyone {see the Monogatari entries on my lists for more explanation} (^_^;) -- however, Araragi is pretty awesome otherwise, and their relationship is quite unique {and quite good}. :) )
And, of course, a lot of the other couples in the stuff I've seen and read are great, too;
