SynopsisOne day, an ordinal high school girl, Ma$%^&* (her name is left to your imagination), met Cheko, who was a maid came from a village of maids. She could melt, fly, and pull her head off .... Anyway, strange @people began to come, for example, a snow fairly who disliked cold, a large squid that could speak, scary persons, and the like. Pyguru is a world of absurdity drawn by a hope of comedy, Konnotohiro.

Okay, Pugyuru is one of the most lamest animes you'll ever watch... However, that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it! If you enjoy that WTF-kind-of-humor, then you'll undoubtedly enjoy Pugyuru... It's about a girl whose parents leave randomly one day to go on a vacation together. However, the gir's mom hires a maid, who hails from the "Maid Country."
Really, there isn't a story, and the girl's parents never come home, nor does this girl's name EVER get said... However, she has many strange run-ins while she's with her maid, Check-chan. For instance, they meet a snow-lady, members of the Yakuza (or, implied members of the Yakuza...), a squid (who's... also human...?) and other completely random events.
The entire series only takes 45 minutes to watch, so it's easily able to be finished in ONE sitting (although, as me, you might want it to be longer after you finish).
NOW, LET'S REVIEW THIS BITCH!
Story: 10/10
It's random, stupid, and honestly, there isn't even a story to boot... Like I've said, it's about a girl and her maid who come across the most random crap possible. That's why it deserves a 10... Because it was random, but amazing!
Art: 1/10...
It was pathetic... The worst art I've ever seen in anime... Crappy character design, backgrounds sucked and action-sequences (which were scarce ;D) were terribly animated! HOWEVER, mark my words: IT DOESN'T MATTER!!! It ADDS to the humor of the show!!! Much like the art in Detroit Metal City, Excel Saga and Bobobo-bo-Bo-Bobo, the bad art ADDS to the humor!
Sounds: 10/10
The voices crack me the hell up... What can I say? I mean, especially the badass Yakuza guys!! Check-chan has an adorable voice, as well. The OP song is the same as the ED song, but the ED actually has words... and those words are amazing. I would laugh so hard during the ED, because while it always had the same song playing, the words would change in almost every episode xDDD One ending will sing about rendezvousing with the maid in the garden, while the next might be about defeating Satan...
All I can say about this: FURU PAWAA! (full power... which is part of the lyric in the ED about defeating Satan)
Character: 10/10
Yakuza, maids, snow ladies, and the school bully... Eh, it wouldn't be a true anime without those four character categories, right?
The characters are all very unique and stupid in their own, special maids... I've mentioned the Yakuza members a lot in this review, and that's because they are by far the funniest in my opinion... While they have a tough-looking exterior, they're deeply in love with Cheko-chan! Of course, Checko-chan herself is an amazing character! I mean, how many maids do you know who walk around naked day in and day out, "whoo" members of a top-notch level of dangerous organization, have a button on her head that serves rice, cooks toast AND launches nuclear missiles ALL the while remaining adorable? Three, maybe two? NO! There's one and ONE ONLY, AND THAT MAID IS THE AMAZING CHEKO-CHAN!
Enjoyment: 10/10
You can probably tell by my review that I really enjoyed this anime... despite it being 45 minutes long for the entire series... Damn, why does everything good have to come to an end?
I can't say much more about this, really... I've expressed my love for Pugyuru above, and I hope the rest of the world can share the same feelings as I do for this anime ;D If you don't, you're probably either a heartless bastard (no offense if you really are, honestly) or somewhere between a Hitler and Stalin reincarnation. Now, GO ENJOY PUGYURU!
Overall: 10/10, what did you think I'd give it?
Despite the terrible rating I gave the art (which it clearly deserves), I just have to give this a 10... Since I ENJOYED the crappy art, doesn't it at least deserve a ten at heart?
Anywho, I think I've made my point clear about how god-like this random and amazing gag-humor anime is...
