ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. BEST ANIME EVER 10/10.
This is honestly an amazing anime. The raw animation and art look amazing, and the sound design is really good. I enjoyed the crazy wacky sound effects throughout the anime. The character design is also really good. They have a very unique design. The character development through the anime is also amazing. The way the man next door progressively develops is beautiful, though I am upset they ended his arc like that, would've loved to see him all the way to the end. The Man Next Door is not very nice to look at. It's not the worst looking thing I've ever seen, but it's just so bland and unattractive.

Audio is a total mess of random sound effects and it's all mixed together pretty horribly.

The story isn't very good, but it at least... has a story. So, I suppose that's more than I can say for the director's other films. There's a clear structure to the story and a resolution, but this kind of story has been done, even before it's release in 1965, and has been done much better (notably, by Looney Tunes).

A quest for end. Or better put a tiresome adventure. While the story lacks in plot thickness the antics used are entertaining to some mild extent. Not only that but it is a story that i think most people can relate to in some matter. As for the conclusion the artist chose the only realistic answer.
