Both are animated entries in the popular RPG series "Tales of". Featuring fantasy, magic, and swordfighting! Both contain exciting action sequences, magic, and evil villains! Tales of Vesperia is aimed at a slightly older audience than Tales of Symphonia, however.

Show may be different due to it's differences but the main Characters Lelouch and Suzaku's ideals and friendship are similar to Yuri and Flynn where Lelouch and Yuri wants to change from the outside and Suzaku and Flynn wants to change within. Both are awesome where it involves battles, politics, corruption, drama, blood, loss of allies, and friendship.

> People live under shield because the outside world is ruled by fierce beasts ( Titans in Shingeki No Kyojin ) > The Main characters are goverment soliders with different desires > Both goes very dramatic in the process > Medieval themed but in a fantasy world

Very similar theme; a group of soldiers who fought with melee weapons and magic. You'll see many similarities, if you liked one of these, you have to watch other one. Tears to Tiara is respectively longer and have many little chapters before it comes to main goal , but overall it's the same subject.

These two series have a LOT in common. Mainly it's about team of brave heroes who will rescue land from dark forces during big battles with using swords and magic. It contains colorful characters, as visually, as well as in development. Both based on "Tales" game series.

Solid prequels to solid games. Both have an admirably high quality of animation and production value as well and a worthy offering for gamers

1. Both titles are based off of video game franchises 2. Both have plenty of sword and sorcery 3. Both have very good production value which can be seen in the action scenes 4. In order to fully appreciate, the source material should be played (in Fate's case at least watch the first animated series and do a little research on the visual novel)

Yuri Lowell (Tales of Vesperia) and Parn (Record of Lodoss War) are brave and idealistic fighters with aspirations to be knights. Record of Lodoss War and Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike covers the early experiences of these characters as they encounter their first challenges. Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike might be a prequel movie to a video game, but it is still enjoyable to anyone with no knowledge of the game. Its story structure and character growth is better realized than Record of Lodoss War, which is part of a classic multi-media franchise that addresses these weaknesses. The fights against the evils in a good cause. While Vesperia is more serious and a bit more mature, Eternia has a lot of comedy and side stories to tell. However, when it comes to conclusion, shows can be recommended to watch because it's like another tale in one big fantasy book with "Tales of" in title.
