Both anime have a powerful supernatural person and a good-natured but a tad stupid companion. The duos solve cases together involving non-human stuff.

This has a simililar detective theme, similar super natural powers to solve cases and even has a short protagonist like Muhyo. The only difference is it has some Norse mythology mixed into the story

Clients go to the office to report on the supernatural phenomena they experienced while giving details and exorcising them afterwards.

Both deal with supernatural crimes and both involves a private investigator dealing with such a matter.

Both are shounen anime about fighting demons. The characters learn to fight demons at a special school, with more experienced fighters on their side. Also the art is cute/colorful, the stories are rather serious. I found both of them entertaining because in both anime there are some characters that reveal another side of them at some point. The mystery, the fights and the humor were also nice.

Both shows deal with spirits, ghosts, urban legends and the exorcising thereof, and have a slightly creepy element to them. Both shows also have a young, enigmatic and charismatic title character whose past is shrouded in mystery and is hard to figure out in terms of what he's actually thinking and feeling. Both shows start off more episodic with a monster-of-the-week plot. The overall vibe and atmosphere I've gotten from Hanako-kun reminds me a lot of Muhyo and Roji as well.

Punishing the spirits for their past acts in good or bad, in the last judgment occurs, they will be punish and exorcise by their fate, they will be judged by their sins, the path will take them either to paradise or to hell by their lived when they were alive on earth.
