Recommendations

Literally the same story but with fire instead of spirals and TTGL is more fleshed out

Both are animated from studio Trigger and are being directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi. Over-the-top action anime that are being composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. If you enjoyed Kill La Kill, you should give Promare a chance

TL;DR: Exact same premise - self-combusting humans vs. the fire fighters in charge of taking them out. Atsushi Ohkubo also made a statement about Trigger ripping off Fire Force so i mean!

Both are Studio Trigger Originals, have great music and animations. They also have a similiar kind of story setting and I'm sure anyone who loves one of these will love the other one too :)

- Stylish mecha - Government/secret society using people to experiment in order to gain power - Supposed enemies (Suzaku & Lelouch/Lio & Galo) team up in the end - Johnny Young Bosch voice acts MCs in both

There already were some Trigger titles recommended for fans of Deca-Dence due to it's art style and animation. I fully agree there: it is really simple yet effective, and sakuga in the fights can be truly wonderful. But there is also a theme, which is very similar to Promare one: rising against the system. Both in Promare and Deca-Dence system was fighting against some minority it considered bad, and because of that main heroes are up against it.

Both have very anti-racism and anti-fascism themes that are done better than average. While both are about very different protagonists w/ different levels of complexity, at their core, they want the audience to feel and know the same thing. Both are well-liked for their soundtracks as well~

uchuu patrol luluco is a more absurd but condensed version of promare,,, kinda. very similar dumb fun vibes.

Conflicts between races are prominent in both media, but I feel like FMAB executed it better and with a far greater scale than Promare (cause of the time contraint Promare had as a movie) but both are definitely worth the watch if you somehow haven't watched them yet.

The plot terrain is simliar (desert), cowboy type. Both have astounding animation, and cool Chaarcter design.

Both are epic cgi action fighty colorful scene with sub-par and confusing plot. Good to watch if you are extremely bored with nothing else to do.

Redline and Promare are both lovingly crafted original passion projects in which the creators wanted to jam in as much cool stuff as possible, and boy does that pay off! Bombastic animation, kinetic action, compelling chemistry between the two leads, and ever-rising stakes are all tied together by extremely unique and distinct visual styles that set each apart from their contemporaries.

I'll let someone else fill in the obvious recommendations of other Studio Trigger/Gainax works, but if you love how ridiculous either of these movies get in their final acts, you'll most likely enjoy the other one. In short: After an already surreal premise in both movies, giant robots suddenly intrude and drive the plot to its conclusion.

Both are packed with over the top action and they have very fast pacing.

The creators of Promare, Hiroyuki Imaishi and Kazuki Nakashima, worked together on the first episode of Re: Cutey Honey, so if you're looking for more of their signature style, look no further. However, there's more between these two titles than just Imaishi and Nakashima. Amid all the flashy animation and big action, a relationship develops between the two lead characters: opposing personalities who don't get along at first, but it all builds up to a surprisingly similar payoff as they team up.

Both are high energy fast paced shows with alot of action and a striking visual and artstyle and with alot of chaos happening.
