both have military setting with girls being capable in battle and strategy.

Haifuri and Kancolle involve high school aged girls as the main cast, in Kancolle they are personifications of WWII battleships where in Haifuri they are assigned to a specific ship. Our main characters in both series are new at their sea training and striving to become great. Each main character has the same go-getter attitude towards learning new things and find inspiration in others/themselves to help motivate them. While they are each based around school they are also action/battle heavy as well. If you enjoyed KanColle and want something similar maybe a little more slice of life try Haifuri.

Both contains moe girls and dark story. Both take school as their genre. The difference is gakkou gurashi is horror anime, while haifuri is military anime.

Both are shows that feature cute loli girls in a navel military setting. Haifuri has the girls in control of navel ships, whereas in Strike Witches the girls pilot propeller-like machines on their legs, use some form of magic, and is more ecchi.

Both are centered around navy, and has naval combat. However Zipang is more serious than Haifuri (No moe moments.) Oh hey! (Mostly) men only crew with Zipang, compared to Haifuri.

Both are about a single ship in a fleet going rouge and how they survive.

Lots of naval battles with WW2 ships like this but with a SF twist

High school girls operating Heavy vehicles [spaceships/battleship], both MC are captain of their respective ships and both are mainly female cast. I recommend both of them if you enjoyed either one.

Both feature a group of high school students participating in a war game, where they have to coordinate and work together to defeat their foe.

Both have very simple repetitive plot: characters go somewhere, get attacked, then go somewhere else. Plots of the both titles feels like they would be more suitable for action game (shooter for Ingress and see-battle game for High School Fleet) than for anime. Also 3DCG is heavily used in both shows: Ingress is full 3DCG series, while High School Fleet relies on it to show ships and sea battles.

If you need more high-octane military action with cute fuwa girls, then this is definitely one of the best choices in my opinion. Do note that the GuP film is a sequel to the actual anime so, watch the actual anime first. In Girls und Panzer, it's tank on tank action (drifting woop). In Haifuri (might as well be known as "Girls und Kriegsschiffe"), it's ship on ship action (bigger guns, bigger boom).

This is what the boys want; Cute anime girls shooting at each others in a school environment, nothing more, nothing less.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress and High school fleet had the main characters start with a "Mutiny/mistrust" and it was solved throughout the series. Also, both series contains a "infection" (Kabane/Hypnosis Mice) and the main characters fight against it, as well as thrilling and pumping action scenes for you to enjoy.

hehehehe the truth is that the love of the Japanese for underage girls aboard ships or representing anthropomorphic ships is typical of their postmodernist military culture, either because Japan is an island and needs that connection of protection with the sea or because it was one of the naval military potentials that rivaled the British Empire ... love, sea, kanmusume, schoolgirls, sailors and love... are a fetish of Japan that distinguishes it over other nations with the same social, geographical and social-historical characteristics!

Both series share the premise of youngsters wrongly accused of terrorism and being on the run. They also feature the mundane goings on inside their respective vessels. Ryvius is a bit more mature and depressing however.

Alright, so this is gonna be a little out there, but hear me out, because while I was watching High School Fleet, I kept thinking about LotGH and for good reason. Both shows boast a very wide roster of characters all who have specific jobs within their fleet. The way the characters complete their duties and the tasks they are given logically flow into the way they think and their overall personality. Often, the crew is left with a difficult decision as to what course of action to take, and it falls unto the captain to make the best decision based off their knowledge as well  read more

Same "cute girls doing hardcore stuff", Sora No Woto is an anime with army setting, they have Takemikazuchi as their tank while in Haifuri they have DS Harukaze.
