Kazoku Robinson Hyouryuuki: Fushigi na Shima no Flone

They're both based on older classic novels (both published in the 19th century), both part of the World Masterpiece Theater, and animated by the same Nippon studio, where many of the animation staff (animator, storyboard, photography, etc) worked on both titles.  The anime are similarly paced. The Dub has same the VA for the/a main character : Becca in The Swiss Family Robinson and Amy from Tales of Little Women. While the stories (plot) aren't particularly similar (published around 50 years apart by different authors), there are some similar themes and both have a similar viewing experience - so if you like one, it's highly probable you'll like the other. read more 

A group of people get trapped on a deserted island and have to work together to survive. Both have nice themes of friendship and teach you about surviving on an island with the tools given to you. 

Both series are about a small group that is stranded on an island and forced to survive in nature.
