A new beginning after the end of their main series. Also, there's more similarities between both of them: -Both series involves a special thematic: CG uses a sort of "Cinderella Analogy" in the series, while Sunshine involves the sea thematic. -Both series begins with the main character (Uzuki / Chiika) convincing her new friend (Rin / Riko) to become Idols. Also, a tomboyish girl (Mio / You) joins in. -Both series have too much similarities about their character development: Both series involves a hungry girl (Kanako / Hanamaru), a shy girl (Chieri / Ruby), a gothic "Chuunibyo" girl (Ranko / Yoshiko), a tsundere fangirl (Miku / Dia), a noisy girl (Kirari / Mari) and a leader girl (Minami / Kanan). The main difference between both is their legacy: Aqours is trying to follow μ's steps and the series constantly makes reference to this "legendary group".
