What a lovely anime,
Enjoyed the story and visuals are brillian for this type of anime genre.
enjoyed it and remebered childhood :). not exacly boku no pico story but rather chico to pico.
What a nostalgia when I with my best friend were doing all type of shit, but puberty hits different. all the hair growth and and shawing not to look like Neanderthal.
When i saw this anime it was phenomenal, idk for what reason people hate this anime so much.
Overall I give this anime a big 8.35 score, but why not 10?
Because the first episode story is not so familiar and its bad ... to fuck up kid's brain!

Although I do not like Yaoi very much, I really enjoyed this one. It was not just because of sex scenes. My Pico was pretty good overall. I actually thought it had a decent plot. It has sequencial rising acition and an exciting climax. For only being one episode long, the plot wasn't that bad, especially for a hentai animè. That's not all.
Unlike most hentai, the characters in this OVA actually had quite a bit of depth. They were well introduced through their actions, body language and facial expressions. with little dialogue. The sadness on Tamotsu's face when he see's a happy ... couple displays his lonliness. The way Pico smiles at Mokkun says that he really thinks of him as a friend. The characters were one of the best things about a My Pico.
The animation was pretty good,too. It was smooth and fairly high quality.
The voice acting is done very well. The actors had good inflection and expressed emotion well. This is truly one of my favorites.

Okay the art they put into this is amazing and the sounds, voice actors always makes things so realistic. The story I found it more realistic nature side having a grandfather lets his grandson wounder about with an adult guy made me at unease. I did find it enjoying on a art scale but the reality of it, it could happen anywhere it kinda made me at ill, I know they not aiming for child porngraphy but I can't help thinking this kinda making me off watching it. This isn't a romance Ova but in my case I don't think I could watch it ... again.

PLOT- it's a hentai so don't expect any plot from it but seriosley if you survived the first 20 minutes you will survive the whole 3 episode series.that plot simply does not exist nothing happens in 40 minutes they meet by chance have a little fun fight then make up and have fun again that's it.

VISUALS-the art is fine considering it's a hentai the art is well made ... i have no complains about the art.

SOUND-the voice ators have done a perfect job if you play this on speakers in public or at home people might beat you up thinking that you were watching porn (GAY porn )

CHARACTERS-there are only 2 characters in this anime episode first is mokkun and second is pico and they both are shit .mokkun is a pedophile who dosen't care if he is banging a girl or a boy an the other side pico is a guy who likes to dress up as girl what you call and otokonoko in anime.

Okay so... I've watched a lot of hentai in my day but... but this? This was disturbing. I like yoai normally but... the fact that one of these boys was prepubescent and thirsty was one of the most disturbing things I have encountered.

The story... well.... nothing much. They just sort of met then had sex.

The art was... actually good. I actually really like the art style and the way their hair was drawn.

Shota and Shotacon could make for a vary good show but this misses every target it aims for. Its Shota in its most basic form, it has no ambition and does nothing for the Shota sub genre. the characters exist to have sex and nothing else. the plot exists to get from one sex scene to the next. and the art ranges from Mediocre to Bland.

the worst parts are the Fetish scenes, there often slow and always go on far too long and kill any pacing Pico might of had, ... they go on for so long that they start to become uncomfortable to watch.

Overall, the main issue this show has is its barebones to a fault. you cant get invested in the story because it has no meat to it,and often feels like they animated the writers first draft. its not bad because its Shotacon, its bad because there is nothing to it, an empty void of a show.

This was an... Interesting experience. I went in completely oblivious and left scarred for life. i think the plot was extremely basic, the art could've been better, the sound was oddly realistic, the characters were basic, and I overall want to puke. The fact that there is hentai involving young children being taken advantage of is... Truly disturbing. I get that it's not uncommon in Japan since the legal consent age is 13, but that makes things even more disturbing. Not to mention, Pico is 11, so he's not even old enough to consent even there! It was a very confusing emotion roller coaster that I wish I could unsee. Excuse me while I go bleach my eyeballs.

Boku No Pico is flat out disgusting, and wrong in every single fathomable way.It exploits children and exhibits explicit child abuse through sex with 'androgenous' Pico. This anime does nothing more than to promote child sex abuse, with the protagonist 'Tamostu' being the ultimate sexual predator.

It shouldn't be classified as yaoi, as he obsesses over the idea of Pico being a girl for the entire duration of the anime. Why not just get with one? Pico is a child, used throughout the anime and he doesn't ... even know it. This anime glorifies everything wrong in the world.

For starters I will start with a basic summary of the story without spoiling anything. Okay, so it starts off with our main character Tamotsu, who visits a café, and happens to meet a beautiful young girl called Pico. At first sight he falls for her, and begins a more intimate relationship, the story revolves around the hardships they face as their relationship develops.

Okay, so compared to other romance stories, this one falls a little short, however keeping in mind that this story is only a single episode to introduce the characters and develop their touching relationship; I’d say that it did a ... fairly good job.

There isn’t much to comment on when it comes to the art, it doesn’t stand out from other series’, but it’s not bad either.

Sound: 7
Same as the Art this is pretty standard, although I’d like to comment on how it’s rare that a lone OVA has an opening so I was impressed with this, it was a fairly good opening too, the song is catchy.

Characters: 4
This is where the show lacks some, although it is no fault of its own, there simply isn’t enough time in a single episode to give detailed backstory on several characters, and the character development is also limited, however they managed to pull off a romance with extremely basic backstory, which allowed for a majority of the episode to go towards character development.

Enjoyment: 5
On the whole I will have to say that this is mediocre, it was an okay for what short time they had to fit it in, however it pales in comparison to romance anime such as Romeo x Juliet, and Chobits, but if I was to compare it to 24 episode shows then that would be unfair, so I’ll leave it as being mediocre.

Alright, so overall I will have to give this anime a 5/10, it is the definition of mediocre, and it’s far from terrible, but also lacks depth, although it cannot help that. I would say that this show is definitely worth a watch, since at only 30 minutes long, it is not time consuming in the least, the only warning is this anime contains some ecchi scenes as well as a handful of nudity, but that only helps show how intimate these two lovers are.

As a medium, anime is EXTREMLY varied. There is every genre in existence like mecha/film noir, romance/supernatural, etc. One of these genres is Boku no Pico. It is essentially hardcore yoai child porn.

When I decided to watch the infamous "Boku no Pico", I already knew that it was horrible. I wanted to see how bad the anime could got because I like the trash genre. I should have heard the advice to not watch this anime.

You can see what is coming if you just watch the opening: There's a cute and romantic song put just to troll the viewer and an oversexualized underaged girl, I mean, boy, our eponymous protagonist Pico. What comes after is a bunch of sex scenes between a kid and his adult lover, Mokkun The Pedophile. Seriously, someone should ... call the social service to visit Pico's grandad, since he doesn't give a damn to his grandson and is not worried with the fact that Pico goes to the house of a strange adult.

Boku no Pico is a disgusting and WTF anime. If you are interest in more series like this one, I would recommend you the equally disturbing Eiken and Gakuen Heaven ( the H manga, not the shonen-ai anime).

There is nothing to enjoy here. Boku No Pico is an anime about a pedophile and a little shota banging within the first half an hour of meeting each other.

There is no love in their relationship, it is strictly sex.

The part where they split up was laughable and the end was even worse.

Well...I am sure everyone has heard of this anime watched or not.

The infamous Boku No Pico..the hentai that is still used as a meme to this day, I am not really sure what to say about it I mean the story is bland and the only THING that's going on us..uh well you know what I mean. The art is mediocre at best whereas the sound is just mainly the voices of characters and music.

After you watch all three episodes you're left with this strange feeling that lingers inside...basically trying to process what you have just watched and witnessed. I'd say give it a watch.....just ... kidding.

Boku no Pico isn't a good show. A painful story at the start, with the main character and a guy, double his age having sex in the back of his car, and confusing at the end, with something about Coco living alone and him having 20 cell phones or something like that.
I can't say much about the art and sound it was alright it did its job I think, I don't remember it, and the characters were a little cute to watch 30% of the time, you know when they ... weren't fucking.
Despite the flaws in the... everything, I did enjoy tearing it apart with my friends, and it's not the worst thing I've seen, it at least held my interest and kept me watching. And even with it being technically child porn, they're probably legal in japan, as long as they're 14.
So gather some friends, and nitpick it to hell and back, and wonder about those cum physics in the first episode.

My first contact with Boku no Pico was through those anime subreddits on Reddit, where people would spend a considerable amount of time posting anime memes, lo-fi hip hop, and displaying a rather unhealthy obssession with ahegao. When i was decided to talk about Boku no Pico, my friends was constantly recommending me to watch this 'great show', it has become the 'butt end' of the anime community in the same ranks as 177013. So, I thought it was essential to watch it so I gave Boku no Pico a shot and received it with an open mind. To my surprise, ... I completely enjoyed my experience but with an asterisk.

As I mentioned in the beginning, I used the 'chicks with dicks' mentality to cope with the show and this is what the artists gave us by making Pico so effeminate. Having this believable female aesthetic to Pico saved me from trashing this show along with the great storytelling. The rest of the elements such as background feel like the anime of the time which didn't stand out too much but never dipped in quality that took you out of the experience

Now, the story was good in entry, although it could have done a better job in telling that story, it seems like this storyline was a bit shorter than the others, Although the plot is basic and doesn't really go anywhere, the way the show is edited together and how the storyboard progresses sells the experience to me. (I will try to stay away from specifics so as not to spoil the show) The show starts of in a tense establishing scene that immediately tells us what kind of relationship our main character and Pico have and the 'teasing' aspect of the first few scenes pay dividends as they really make the 'climax' of the show feel earned. We get fleeting shots that tease what is to come and makes us think about the scenes that introduce us to the show which keep the viewer engaged. Thinking critically, this is a hentai and it is supposed to help us get off which is what Boku no Pico excels at as it teases us, then edges us closer and closer until we get the pay off at the end that cements the experience in my mind above and beyond what other hentai has every helped me achieve. It is good for the story to elevate a hentai, however Boku no Pico's pacing and storytelling made the show for me.

The art itself was good, and although it was censored, if you tried hard enough you can get passed it and enjoy its full potential. The show was made in 2006 so we have to take that into account when marking it up. I gave it such a high score because of how memorable it is able to make it's characters where if the beginning of a scene is shown many people are able to recognize it almost instinctively.. The character design was also great, seeing how someone would confuse them as girls, that’s is what a shota animation is supposed to do, they where cute and girlish, and the fact that they cross-dress was amazing, it really got me to think if their girls or boys, but aside from that, the ecchi scenes where well made, it really depicted the movement and the shaking of someone’s body during these kinds of situations. Although the reason why it got a 8, was mainly because I prefer watching something a bit more recent, this is when someone has only watched purely modern anime, which this can a new experience and not enjoy the show due to the art.

The sound gets above average marks for including an OP/ED song and the background music which helped build the tense atmosphere of each sexual scene that would've felt lackluster otherwise. Having the music be there then be absent created a sense of unease which mirrored the teasing and edging flow of the show. The sound also helped me cope with the show in having a contrast of masculine and feminine voices for our main leads which strengthens my argument that Pico is a girl since his VA is also a female.

I liked the characters for what they are, they like to tease each other which is very amusing. The way they interact, is like they been friends for a long time, even though they meant each other on that same day, and the personalities are also great for all the characters, the interaction with these shotas is inspiring, what I mean by that, is that you can be good friends by sharing something in common, even though it this example is having ecchi acts with your fellow boy.

I swear I'm not gay guys but Boku no Pico took my on a wild ride and it was probably, in the context of hentai helps us achieve, "the best hentai I have watched" in terms of raw usefulness. It had the best pacing of a hentai with its not too heavy plot and teasing moments that gave us the pay-off we were anticipating towards the end..

Now for those guys who have guy "friends" who recommended this series to you, and you had different expectations; [do like that one guy in that one online comic strip and (if you can get away with it) man-fully punch him in his face. ^_^; ] ... But let me atleast say this first:

Pico ain't all that bad. Disturbing, but not all that bad.

The art and animation is beautiful, something KyotoAnimu would do. The music can do better without the fruity intro and outro songs. The characters (outside the old man who doesn't do anything, "Thank God" says the Atheist) are attractive and friendly. Not one douche-bag or run-of-the-mill pansy-arse beta can be found herein.

I mean... "Gay Vanilla." Or maybe "Banana." I don't know. It's all love and affection. Plus I'm not one of those bastards who like to shoot at people because of which gender they want to sleep with.
