Kago Shintarou Anime Sakuhin Shuu

It's hard to make a review on this but I'm gonna try it anyway.
I randomly find this short animation product and to be honest the only reason I wanted to watch it(and all of us wanted) is because of the Kago Shintarou.
Because I know what kind of artist he is and I can understand and appreciate that. I used to share Kago's artworks on tumblr a lot and also I read the ''Fraction'' manga.
I'm not surprised that this animation series are a totally nonsense, but somewhere in my head there was more gore, more fucked up stuff and a more high quality animation. ... Speaking of animation I think that was supposed to be like that to be more funny and stupid in a good way. More interesting was how animation was combinated with live-action clips.
In coclusion all I have to say about this one is that if you are looking for a story or anything with sense DON'T TRY TO WATCH THIS.

It's difficult to put my thoughts on this thing into words, as it's one of the weirdest pieces of media that I've ever seen. I don't even know where to begin this.

This is a compilation of short, tongue in cheek animated segments with some slight horror undertones, but by no means is it in anyway frightening. I don't believe it deserves its tag as a 'horror', as it's much more akin to a black comedy than anything else.

Regardless of its genre classification, each short is around one to ... two minutes long and showcase some shocking and/or gory imagery. Most of them are completely juvenile and come across as tasteless. Despite this, most of them are quirky and funny enough for me to ignore these issues. In particular, I really loved 'Terror of Olympic Game'.

Over all, it's a decent time waster, and it's not particularly long; So if you're a fan of fucked-up, shock comedy, consider giving it a watch.

Hey, you there! Do you want to feel like the coolest, edgiest, most adult 14 year old on the big, bad interwebs? Well, you're in the right place!

Story: None. Some of the shorts are connected, but there's no overarching story. The individual narratives of each film are about as complex and thought-provoking as "If there were two guys on the moon and one of them killed the other with a rock would that be f*cked up or what?" Oh, the subject matter is taboo, alright... but talk about low-hanging fruit. In summary: old women, children, babies, religious figures, super heroes being killed, sexualized, turned evil, ... or otherwise distorted. Also, homophobia. MPREG Buddha... funny because gay, right?

Art: Horrible, bare-bones flash animation.The artist posses slightly more skill than that of your average newgrounds content creator, with an emphasis on slightly. At least when he's not doodling in MSPaint and inserting poorly edited clipart into random parts of the anthology.

Sound: Audio quality is poor, very scratchy, very typical of internet videos from the early 00's.

Overall: It's just completely cringe-worthy how try-hardy and bland this collection is. If you have had an "ow! the edge" phase at any point in your life, you've seen this all before. The one saving grace of this anthology is that each "film" is only a minute or two long at most. If you make the mistake of watching it, you'll only be wasting a small amount of your time. But you'd still be better off taking a step outside and enjoying some sunlight and fresh air. That's enough Internet for today.
