Both are horror and dementia anime. Both are gory, grotesque and unpretendable. Both are underrated and both have short episode(s). While Kago Shintarou Anime Sakuhin Shuu is more comedy, Agitated Screams of Maggots is more music.

Surreal experimental animation with atypical arstyle that combines anime girls with unexpected... "explicit" imagery. Kanashimi no Kodomo-tachi almost seems inspired by works by Kago Shintaro.

Both are OVA that are compilation of unrelated stories by same artists. Both are weird, surreal and random. Both are somehow artistic. Both have short episodes. While Kago Shintarou Anime Sakuhin Shuu is more dementia, Yokoo's 3 Animation Films is more psychological. 

Both are sick, shocking, brutal, bloody, tasteless and somewhat hilarious shorts. If you are into gory stuff (Takena and Kago enjoy carnage a lot), both creations definitely worth a watch...if you don't get easily scared/offended :)
