I thought this was going to be a super cheesy and boring isekai but then I had nothing to watch and wanted something fantasy so I thought i'd just watch one or two episodes at least. I found out not only that Frieren has same personality as me but having lost one of my closest friends to suicide recently made it hit me right in the feels too. meh the last chapters leading to the ending sucked, sorry to say it but there was no saving how it seemed he didnt know how to end it. It was as if he forgot the characters personalities, goals, feelings etc and they all became the exact same. Everything before then is a 10/10. Had a lot of potential and could probably have ended in a better way.
I think people will enjoy it but need to not have high expectations, and it's very possible the ending will be a huge disappointment considering how much time will be spent reading. The artstyle and everything else is awesome, no ... |
