And police didn't even confiscate Lupin's and Fujiko's clothes. How lame -_-
I remember they already did the same mistake in episode 82 with Napoléon Bonaparte XI "The Old Man Rescue Hostage Operation". Zenigata doesn't learn anything. Besides, it's just a common sense that every respectable police office in the world has...

And just a random thought that visited me: maybe, just maybe, the series would be more interesting if in half of the episodes Zenigata and police actually won the duel. That way, every new episode would be more thrilling and unpredictable as you wouldn't know if Lupin's gonna succeed this time

btw, Cathedral of Saint John the Divine isn't the largest church in the world, but one of the largest

In which Fujiko promises to marry Lupin...provided he steal a large amount of gold guarded by Zenigata. Despite the twists and grandiose exploits, in fact partly because of them even, this felt like more of a simple episode meant to show off the main 5 characters and their personalities. Almost like a refresher episode. No one was really surprised by the behavior of anyone else. Jigen accepting and expecting Fujiko's first betrayal, Lupin tracking the gold knowing she'd steal it, then Zenigata tracking it, twice, and Goemon's honorable acceptance of the situation as he plummeted into the ocean with his friends at the end. These character know each other so well. No new one-off characters to interact with, just our main cast doing what we'd expect them to, which may sound bad or tired, but it's kinda nice every once in awhile actually. I did enjoy the volleyball runner too, and Zenigata once again being able to keep up with everyone throughout the episode.

The mind game, Zenigata always forgot about Jigen & Goemon, it's his downfall

It's always a good day when Fujiko suffers from her own actions xD

But seriously Lupin and Fujiko should have progression for their relationship
Guess not in this (episodic) part

Fujiko and Lupin getting married, huh. It seems that not yet. It's at least the third time it's her birthday too, I would like to see an episode with Jigen's or Goemon's birthday. xD

Fujiko never looked good this season, but in this episode it was particularly bad lol

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Damn right, Zenigata doesn't learn anything. He's learned to love Lupin, and still put him and Fujiko on death row.
