Both animes tell the story of a girl who returns to her previous life and changes the course of events by being more self-determined and ambitious. Male leads in both animes become very interested in the strong personality of the female lead. Both animes involve royalty. These two animes aired in 2024 and have a very similar plot.

Two MCs of high authority in a fantasy setting who were executed for their actions but end up going back to a time where they have all the knowledge of what happened previously in order to mend things and make them right in order to prevent the same death. Main difference is Tearmoon is about a Princess and Gekai is about a Surgeon, as well within Gekai she reincarnates on Earth but upon her death there, reincarnates back to her isekai self.

MCs who are within the medical field die on Earth and are reincarnated to a world that isn't as technologically advanced, they use their knowledge from their past life to help people as a doctor/pharmacist. Main difference is that Isekai Yakkyoku has magic whereas Gekai Elise doesn't, plus in GE the MC used to be from that world too and is now mending her mistakes plus revolves around romance too which IY doesn't really have.

These shows each feature a kind-hearted, skilled, female isekai mc. Both characters have to balance their lives between their medical research, duty to the kingdom, and growing romantic feelings. The mc’s also happen to have the same Japanese voice actor.

Both isekai-type romance shoujo stories that have very similar concepts. If you like one, you'll surely like the other.
