In my country Covid-19 is currently almost none existent. They only don't allow flights from outside Europe, hence why she and her family got stuck. I saw the situation over there sucks yeah.. I hope the president is right about the vaccine coming out this year though...

I really dont think I'll buy PS5 at launch. None of the games at the reveal caught my interest to be honest. I was so dissapointent by that GTAV reveal though. Was really hoping for that GTA 6 reveal. I will also buy the standard edition. I'm also nostalgic for certain titles to own them on discs. Mainly the GTA games, Soccer and anime games. All my Xbox cousins switched over to Playstation a few years back haha. Let's see what the future holds. Seems like games will be more expensive though on the next gen. 70 bucks instead of 60 bucks.

Yeah finally that announcement. 8 years of freaking wait hahaha. In 2012 everyone was firmly believing it would be back within a year. I think Studio Pierrot will do it again, but probably with a very good staff, surpassing even the old anime. They said that during the live stream that they want to do it good. I'm really expecting some high quality animation like the regai filler arc. I hope they might release an official unbroadcasted Bleach kai one day availible for streaming. There is already an official Naruto Shippuden version of it. Yeah Bleach will be very profitable. It will gain so much hype just by its name. A lot of new fans have already joined the community. I believe BTW manga will just be a short series of 10-12 chapters like Naruto Gaiden. I think it was said somewhere. The 1000 Year BW arc will be so amazing. It was already great in the manga, although sadly very rushed. The only thing that was annoying is that some fights drawn over several chapters, slowing down the pace on weekly reading basis. But a 8 chapter fight like Kenpachi vs Gremmy will only be 2 eps long at most. Maybe 1.5. The arc in anime format will be fantastic. Hell it already was in the manga, but people just don't know how to read…

I also dropped MHA 2-3 eps before the season finished. I'm done with it. Just not my taste haha. I still have to finish Vinland…
Yeah my cousins are recommending me ToG as well. I only watched the first 2 eps and it was okay. But I heard it has a lot of HxH vibes. The only thing I find a shame is the animation style. Wished they used the art of God of High school, making is visually more pleasing.

Still no design release for the ps5.... Still waiting…. I think the Xbox looks like a trash bin, but I won't say too much about it. Inb4 the PS5 looks like one as well. I read you require for both consoles a TV that is either build in 2019 or 2020, because only these have a HDMI 2.1 port. Otherwise you won't have that good graphics… The whole package might turn out more expensive than I thought…

I guess you saw the news about the Bleach announcement. They-re defenitely gonna announce the Burn the Witch Ovas there. And everything seems to hint towards a Bleach anime reboot later. Now I wonder if this is going to be the same BtW as in the One Shot, since this takes place after the Bleach series, and the anime will come after the OVAs. I think/hope we are gonna see the western branch of soul society before the manga now.

Looks like Aniplex has the rights for Bleach now and they also hold the rights for the OSTs. I think the reboot will be more superior to the original. Even better animation, little censorship, more gore, more mature, darker tone, translating Kubo's poetic skills better etc. Ofcourse the anime only bonusses will be gone like Ichigo vs Grimmjow round 1(was movie quality, wasn't a fight in the manga), Hisagi vs Findorr or Bankai Ichigo Bankai vs Ginjou Bankai. But yeah the Arrancar arc is supposed to feel just as dark as the first arc, and imo the anime ruined the first arc as compared to the manga.
I believe with a reboot the Bleach franchise will become just as popular as it was in its prime, in the West at least.

So yeah the current season is the prime example of why I dislike MHA even though the writing is good. The first half with the Yakuza was very enjoyable and pretty good. Not wow or big 3 level, but I liked it. But now…. Singing contest…. stupid little girl villain… Bakugo, Todoroki and some others fighting children…. I dropped it..... No way I'm gonna waste my time on that.

I won't watch the CG movies haha. For me the main reason the series was so good, was because of the ending. If they are gonna retcon that shit then I'm out.

I still haven't completed Vinland Saga. Still at episode 7. My cousin said it gets really good. Really hope I will have time to finish it before summer.

I haven't been watching any anime this season at all. Dropped MHA. I don't watch Haikyuu and the rest looks boring. Next season has Tower of God. I have been hearing so many good things about this comics, dating back to the time I started watching anime, almost a decade ago. I'm hyped to see what's so good about it.

Well project Scarlett has to do some next level shit then for it to be succesful haha. I saw rumours that both of them will be 500 bucks. It's a lot, but if I can still play my ps4 games on it, then it's worth it.

I'm pretty sure FF is only 24 episodes. I saw some vague spoilers about part 6. I know Jotaro dies and the universe gets reset with alternative counterparts coming, but wtf is up with that new Jotaro hahaha? They should make that an alternative costume in a future game.

The more I think about it, the more I think it's going to get a complete remake. Let's see it from Shueisha's perspective: If it comes back, it will be a decade since the series ended. Average old school Bleach fan is in his late 20s. They won't make any money out of that demographic target. Besides that, Japanese viewers don't like to watch old animation. They tried it with DB Kai and Yu-gi-Oh remastered in the past, but almost nobody watched it. A reboot would bring a brand new fan base, similar to how they did it with HxH 2011 and Jojo 2012. People have also forgotten a lot of the story and some moments won't have the same impact if you aren't familiar with the unsolved plot points anymore. I don't think this goes for the west where Bleach is a huge name and people will watch the old anime to catch up anyways, but Japan is different.

Also let's look at HxH's case. When it came out in 1999, the series was very succesful and it had good manga sales. The anime went until Greed Island. In a similar case the old fanbase had grown old by 2011 but the anime gave brought an entire new fanbase doubling the initial sales.

And being honest about the Bleach anime. It was an excellent and faithful adaption until episode 63. After that there was a lot censorship, shit pacing and every episode had 5 minutes of recap and while the animation was good, there weren't many Sakuga moments anymore. Ichigo vs Ulquiorra and Ichigo vs Aizen got good animation, but not the quality of Ichigo vs Grimmjow, Ichigo vs Ginjo, Byakuya vs Kouga or Hisagi vs Findorr. Especially Ichigo vs Ulquiorra lacked a lot compared to the manga imo. It just wasn't as brutal or dynamic. Pierrot was aware of this and they remade a portion in the Hellverse movie. That's nowadays the quality we can expect in a weekly anime for hype moments. Ichigo vs Aizen was basically the same as the manga but with less good art. Imo all of the big fights should've received Sakuga treatment but i know it was hard because the planning of the anime was basically shit because they were close to the manga. They can do it as they proved with the SS arc and the Reigai arc where the animation was splended on a weekly basis cuz there were no planning issues.

Imo they also didn't really get the tone of the series right. When I first switched to the manga I noticed how much darker the tone was. Pierrot did get the style of the series right though. It had such a cool fight and OST were so good.
Summary: Was the old Bleach anime good? Yes it was. Was it a perfect adaption from beginning till the end like HxH or Jojo? No defenitely not.

I think a reboot with modern technology could easily surpass the old anime. The only two things are perhaps Ichigo vs Grimmjow round 1(anime only extended fight) and OSTs. Everything else can be done better.


Is Ghost in The Shell that good? I only watched the LA movie with Scarlett Johanson and it wasn't that interesting imo. Could've been just movie though.

Well MHA doesn't have the worst fanbase anymore. It's actually Demon Slayer now. They truly believe their anime is the best shonen anime of all time HAHAHAHHA. It doesn't matter what you give to Ufotable, they can make everything good. I've seen much better anime done by Ufotable. The manga is so standard. Just a simple revenge story with a lot of blood and gore and the story structure is basically defeating all the Espada until you get to the final boss. And it is Ufotable that makes the boring figths enjoyable with their animation quality.

Yeah MHA just lacks the hype and potential. When I was at ep 63 with Bleach there was so much to yet look forward to. Same goes for Naruto. Their characters were also a lot more interesting and abilities too. MHA feels like a lame X-men. I actually feel the opposite haha. I agree that Deku is lame. Crying all the time, and uhhh the tie he wears is so ugly. As someone who goes to work in a suit everyday, it actually disgusts me to see someone wear a tie like that. I do like All Might though. Not nearly as good as Jiraiya, but he fulfills his mentor role. I actually dislike the cast for the most part. I like Todoroki, Bakugou, (recently) Kirishima and Iida. As soon as the story moves away from these 6, I just don't care and fall half asleep during the episode. The League of Villains aside of One for All are a complete joke. Do you remember the scene is season one where Tomura invaded there training space? That scene felt like a joke. It felt completely different when the Espada or Akatsuki did that. I do like Overhaul though. At least he feels like a cool villain.

To me the series has already reached its peak and there isn't much to look forward to. This verse doesn't have much potential and lacks a lot. All might vs AFO was probably the biggest moment in the series. No we got the Yakuza arc that is interesting but probably ends this season. What is there to look forward to after that? Mostly seeing the cast grow with new missions and on the other hand the boring League of Villains are developing and they'll have their final showdown.

Yeah I'm happy it got announced. I'll probably be getting it right away. I hope goes back until ps2. A geeky collegue of mine said it will probably only go back until the ps4, which I really hope is not the case. I want to play Bleach Soul Ressucrrecion again haha. Unfortunately it doesn't support the dualshock 4 controller on the ps3 which is a shame. I think Xbox is done. Google is also coming with their streaming service. But I think more and more game will allow crossplay, so the console shouldn't really matter anymore in the future. I will keep buying the playstation because a lot of anime games are PS only.

From the people I heared the read the manga, they are pretty dissapointed. There isn't really hype and the material is just okayish. So yeah you are right about Ufotable being the key to its succes. Hell, I even think Black Clover would've even been better if it was done by Ufotable.

I think, there wasn't much to save for A1. Characters haven't really showed any new abilities, so they only could've prolonged the fights. Can't really save a fight like Larcade's nor the fake deaths. There were also a lot of other dumb moments. Almost everyone I know IRL dropped it around episode 40. I kept on watching since it was almost done. I'm sure I would've dropped it if there 20 more episodes to go. Did you see the new FT game? It looks shite. Almost fan made.

I also put Fire Force on hold until there is more. DP should just stop it after season 1 and just do Jojo part 6 already. How far is part 8 from concluding you think now?

Yeah I also hope they won't wait too long for it. A lot the OG Bleach fans are already in their 30s, meaning that fanbase will be mostly consisting of new fans. I mean I was still in high school when the anime ended and I'm now a fulltime accountant who is almost done with his uni Master. Just to realize how much time has passed. The new future fans were probably like 6 years old when the anime ended and not even born when the anime started. I wonder what their strategy will be. A remake would be the solution but I think the old anime is regarded as a legend and won't be getting a tv series reboot. Same reason DBZ, Fist of the north star, Saint seiya etc. won't be getting one ever.

As an anime only I still wonder why Eren got placed on the Villains wiki haha. They categorize long hair Eren as a different character. Can't wait for next year. Yeah, we might not have gotten another Naruto or Bleach in Shonen Jump this decade, but we did get the best anime of all time imo. I think AoT and Fate Zero are in the top 5 anime of time. Code Geass is also part of it imo. Parasyte also fits into my list, but that could be just me. I really liked that anime a lot.

I've seen only Wing, Seed, 00, Iron-Blooded and recently 0079. So I'm not ready to make a favorite list in order yet. I enjoyed them all. Yes, including Seed season 2. I know it has a lot of problems. I hate the new protagonist Shinn Asuka. He's really damn annoying most of the time. They made Kira and Lacus like a tagged along with characters at the beginning. They were trying to make it better like Zeta, but they failed. The series had few epic movements here and there though. So I gave a 7/10. By the way, if you're watching, then go with the remastered version 2013.

Hey buddy! How are you? It seems you've seen a bunch of Gundam series lately. Well, I'm just wondering that is it okay to skip Gundam ZZ after watching Zeta Gundam and go through Char's Counterattack and Unicorn? Do you think I'll miss some main parts of the Universal Century in that series?

Graphics do look good, but the gameplay probably feels too stiff. Best option is to download it on the pc with some graphics/gamplay smoothning mods. There have been official leaks about Sony's next gen console, they just haven't given it a name yet. The harddrive in the next gen is so powerful. Loading time issues should be gone then. I actually think the announcement will be made somehwere next year.

Yeah true. Kimetsu no Yaiba manga is just an average shounen that doesn't go to deep with a simple story and doesn't have much world building. Characters aside of Tanjirou are also pretty blank, but I like the dark vibe of the series. But then comes the anime adaption of Ufotable and holy shit do they take it to another level. It really feels like I'm watching a movie sometimes. But part of me questions, what if for example studio Cloverworks or some other average studio would have animated the series. It probably wouldn't even be trending. So I would say the series succes is more thanks to Ufotable than its source material. That's why I disagree when people call it the greatest Shounen of all time. They probably would've even made Toriko a masterpiece. Did you see the last episode with demon hide out dimension? GODLY animation.

I see you also gave KnY a 7/10 and FT a 5/10, so we probably think a like. I liked the last episode of Fairy tail because it felt like early FT. The beginning of the season was pretty decent too, but the war itself, which was the majority of this season, was utter trash. I only liked Erza vs Irene and August vs Gildarts. Acnologia vs Natsu was okay but a bit anti cilmactic. Natsu vs Zeref was an insult to the fans. The numerous fake deaths and friendship was just terrible. One of the worst final arcs in battle shonen imo.

My only complain about part 5 was the last part. I didn't like the short fight between Giorno vs Diavolo and the closure arc with Rolling Stones.
DP did an excellent job at this season though.

I've changed my opinion on Dr. Stone. It isn't great but I do enjoy watching it weekly. I just stopped taking it seriously with all the BS. Just treat it as Isekai fantasy/RPG anime and you'll enjoy. That being said I'm not dying to see it every week and might drop off if I miss a week or 3.

Fire Force is decent. Mostly watching it for the animation and cool characters. I also like series with Divisions/squads like Bleach.

Yeah I liked Soul's latest video about Ulquiorra. Wished more people would look deeper into stuff like this instead of calling everything lazy or bad. Well I never see Jaymes as a serious source, but since other more credible sources have been saying the same, something is probably happening atm. I think the stuff about Shueisha searching for a production comitee is true, but don't know if it means that if they don't find any investors, the possible project might be cancelled. Hope that's not the case. I don't think they were waiting for Pierrot. More like the right moment, an anniversary for example. The dates for that were/are 2016, 2019 and 2021. If SP is busy, then they look for another studio, but hopefully the majority of the same staff. If it isn't back by 2021, it just means no one is interested in funding the series, but I doubt that will happen.

It's funny that AoT's first season looks like some cool action anime that uses gore to impress and attract fans, while in reality it was a masterpiece all along. Back when the first season was airing, I was still in high school and people dropped it after 10 eps because they thought it was just some generic action shounen with no depth. Sucks to be them now not experiencing this masterpiece haha.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don't have Death Note that high on my list. I think the first 25 episodes are very good. The only bad thing about it was probably that alot of the ''smart'' stuff Light and L came up with felt like asspulls. He got me, but I got myself covered with this-->L:But I expected that and already have a back-up plan for that etc. all over back and forth. I really disliked practically everything after L's death. My rating probably goes something like this. Until L's death: 9/10. Time-skip: 4/10
