The characters you are saying are what some people call Catalyst MC where the MC himself/herself is a fine developed character with no needs of further development. They tend to be the ones making people change around them. Yes, I'm very fine with this, in fact I really like them, although yet again it always come down to how they are done and of course how they changed the people around them.

Also, lol, I do love Junko, too, even though she was crazy, but before she was crazy she was my favorite girl in Danganronpa...and still is :D I'm actually still not done with the game, I didn't watch the anime cause I heard it didn't do good with the adaptation. I've been wanting to finish but busy af

I'm fine with OP characters as long it is executed properly. That's just my problem with a lot of other OP characters, they aren't properly written.

Aight men, thanks. I didn't really feel Kaiji to drag on tbh, but that's me. I'm also planning to watch One Outs, but I'm probably not going to read Liar Game, or if I'm the mood maybe. But I'm reading a lot right now. My friends did read Liar Game so that's one thing.

That is true. But for me the difference is the execution. Kaiji had to suffer terrifying consequence and stakes and you feel for him. I mean I had cold feet when his ears was being pierced, when he was on that bridge, and the time he was betrayed. Being according to plan type isn't a bad thing, you just have to properly execute it. I do like Jabami mind that, but it's like see is always smiling, confident, and doesn't lose face. And really, she was made this way by the author. But I'm just spouting my opinion why the show is suffering because of that. I said she doesn't feel like she is going to lose meanwhile Kaiji, you really feel the consequence, the stakes, and that fact he is grounded to reality and his comrades really adds that factor of thrilling. Even if you feel like he is going to win, at times the show just fucks you open like when Kaiji got betrayed. I wanted to root for Kaiji, however Jabami I don't feel the need to root for her. But I think episode 4 is doing it right, so I'll wait for it and looks like it'll improve. Also just saying, 5 isn't a bad score, it's an ok score, 6 is a good score, but not amazing.

Also, just saying. Kaiji isn't on your anime list or manga list. Is that an error or something?

It's fine if you don't agree. It has always been like that and I'm seeking experience. I actually had hesitations when I made that review, but I wanted to have experience. I'm amateur at best, and that is completely why I want to make one and only recently I started reviewing. So feel free to criticize, it's the norm. In fact, I'm grateful, you are my first person to criticize me so I can finally experience disagreement. Thanks >_<

I see and I understand. What I mean by "You know Jabami will win"is a sense of tension by that I mean regardless as to what to come, I never felt Jabami will lose. Like you said, it kind of contradicts to what I said, but it's because what I feel about her. She fits the situation too well. No fear, just full of joy. It's not about being strong or OP, it's the feeling to her character. She doesn't feel human and I do indeed understand the author's intention. But don't get me wrong, I understand as to why she is like this. And episode 4 finally improves from it. Also, I am enjoying Kakegurui, but when I make reviews right now, it's the face value. My qualms for Kakegurui is her character. I'll repeat it, it is not her being OP, a good gambler, but her character as a sadistic gambler who likes high stakes and that is her character.

Also, Kaiji is not a good gambler so I do not understand what you meant by that. Kaiji is a normal human, in fact, he basically loses a lot of gambles and as to how he got out of the situations, now that was a miracle that I could only have hoped for. Although, a part of me also question why I compared it to Kaiji, it's probably because both are gambling animes and I'm not the only one comparing.
