I mainly want to talk about the emotions Wolf Children elicits in me rather than the plot or whatnot.
Short review of plot and stuff: It's alright. Some of the character dialogue is pretty unnatural and towards the end the plot gets even stranger. The art's really nice and so is the music.
As a film, Wolf Children didn't really do much for me. However, the feeling it brings me when I look back on it is this strange childhood nostalgia. Not the "90's kid" kind of nostalgia, but the "Reading a bedtime story" kind of nostalgia. The story mirrored a little of my life where

If you watched the series before the OVA, the characters are the same and just as entertaining. If you haven't watched the series this is definitely a fan service OVA than something that can be watched as an introduction to the series.
Marriage is weird isn't it? You basically devote the rest of your life to one person and if it all goes okay you don't die alone.
