| I had hoped for something a little more practical than this, but hoping and expecting are two different things. ''IS: Infinite Stratos'', is what I believe to be a combination of tsundere, mixed in with a little moe, and a generic cast to match. I won't say I didn't like the whole idea of humans piloting machines, using them to battle (as I am a huge ''Gundam'' fan). Cliche nonetheless. Though when you try to mix in generic plots, and the typical harem based story line, the result will always be the same; Horrible. I hope to see something different out of this anime. The chances are slim, but we all have hopes and dreams. (That's not even relevant) (o.O) Looking forward to the next! |

I hate childhood friends in series that will probably contain a harem, it makes every other girl in the series a superfluous waste of time. why does he even have a roommate? he should have just nominated Houki instead. |

| Okay, this was my first mecha anime and I liked the first episode and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I wonder if Ichika can win the duel... Also, OP and ED weren't bad at all. |

| This seems kind of interesting. The battle scene caught my attention right away with its animation and action. I am curious to see how other battle scenes turn out later in this series. The school scenes were okay. I'm not going to heavily criticize it for the fact that it is the first episode, but so far it felt a little one-dimensional. The characters annoyed me a little and I'm considering watching the subs instead. I forgot her name, but so far the only character I like is the one with the green hair. This seems like it has potential, so I'll still watch it and hope it gets better. |
