 It was announced by the cast and staff members during the One Punch Fall Festival today that One Punch Man is getting a second season. In addition, a mobile game has been announced for release in 2017. The series was adapted from the manga of the same name and aired for 12 episodes from October to December 2015. Well for now we don't even know if Madhouse will be the animation studio, not that it actually really matters since they had only a minor role in the overall production. If anything you should pray that Natsume Shingo is still the director for this. |

In fact it actually is rather unlikely since the director of season 1 is working on ACCA at the moment. A 2018 release seems more likely in this case :). |

| No fucking way. First a new Gintama season, now a new OPM season. I found my reason to look forward to 2017. But now there's so many sequels seasons to anticipate next year. Gintama, Shingeki no Kyojin, Steins;Gate 0 (hopefully), Boku no Hero Academia, KonoSuba, Shouwa Genroku, and now OPM. I have a feeling that Bones will announce a Mob Psycho second season and the end of the 12th episode. |
