| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nothing special happened. Half of the episode was some kind of build-up and then the duel started. This life-energy draining if one of your monster is destroyed is totally lame imo, Marik won't even care and Joey will lie down on the floor at the end, I guess. I'm totally cheering for Joey, but I don't see him having a chance. He must prevent Marik from summoning Ra. |

| And it's another Dark Game! This one involves a wire being connected to the monsters and the duelists. And when the monsters are destroyed the duelist feels pain. This is gonna be tough, but Jonouchi should be able to endure it. He's come this far and his resolve is strong. Ra is a powerful ass card so he needs to find a way to prevent it from being summoned |
| Is this series really for kids. Having the same pain as their monster gets makes their battlefield hell |
| I don't understand why they replaced Viser Des from the manga with Plasma Eel; at first I assumed that Viser Des was too graphic to show in the anime, but Plasma Eel had the same effect and caused Jounouchi to feel terrible pain too, which was just as graphic as in the manga. So what gives? |
| Marik's deck is so OP. I don't think a normal deck like Jonouchi's can make a dent on it. |
