Wakako-zake is for a cozy, calm evening when you have your essays finished, your readings done and you're looking for some calming entertainment. Each chapter is short and focus on the dish, while you can see the character of Wakako - a young adult with a heart for cuisine and feeling the moment. The art is decent with clear line-art, it has its charm of simplicity.
The foody adventure of Wakako is street food-centered : range from the very popular potato salad to beef boiled in miso and hooba leaves, or the extravagant sashimi, it's quite a journey for local cuisine in Japan.
