Story- The main premise of the story is unique, which was one of the reasons I decided the show to begin with. It may seem a little far-fetched to some, but I enjoyed it. This anime doesn’t waste time in getting to main plot. The main focus of the story is the secret relationship of Kei and Mizuho. They try to maintain a sense of normality in their lives despite the unusual and “unique” situation that they find themselves in. Also we find main character struggling with a condition he calls “stand-stills” (not in the synopsis above) and how he learns to deal with it.
I can’t honestly say how much of this series or if any episode can be considered “filler” episodes, I found each one entertaining and important as the last.
There is a few other romance sub-plots included, which arrive around midway through the series and continue throughout. These don’t really play a major role, but I found them to okay.
This show does contain elements of sci-fi in it; however it doesn’t play center stage in the series. It does however create issues for our main characters.
Ecchi content is present in this series, but for some reason seemed a little low. There were plenty of opportunities in almost every episode, yet for some reason they did not take advantage. All we received in return were some shower scenes mixed in with a few odd poses and awkward situations. However I will caution you that this show does contain adult content and some suggestive dialogue, so this isn’t for younger viewers.
Warning: Some events in this series are mentioned in the spin-off, Please Twins, which takes place about 6 months to 1 year later.
Sound/Art-
I can’t really say that this area was a major deciding factor in my overall score. I thought animation was fairly decent and the dubbing good as well. However there was some censorship in the series although I don’t understand why they would put in to begin with.

Characters- This anime takes time to develop certain characters as well as giving some background information for a select few. They also give characters depth which helped in this category. The one thing did enjoy is that the characters weren’t just there; they actually had them play roles in the development of the storyline. They betrayed Kei as bit of spineless wimp. This is enforced when constantly throughout the series.

Overall -
Overall I give this series a solid 7, it has its flaws but overall it was a good watch. However it comes up short in some areas. This series is definitely worth checking out at least once despite its premise. I would recommend watching this series first if you are planning to watch Please Twins at a later date.

Warning: Please Teacher is a parent story to a spin-off, Please Twins. Some events that take place in the in the first series, will be mentioned in the second. Watch Please Teacher before Please Twins.
