Two young men fight against a corrupt organization. One is ruthless and intelligent, the other is forgiving and kind. There is a lot of guns and action mixed with scenes of character bonding. Both have a large cast of characters.
Both follow a dynamic of a hardened combatant coming from a less than stellar backstory, and a lighthearted, cheerful companion that somehow manages to get wrapped up in the chaos. Both have elements of Shounen-Ai/BL, however, this is not the focus. Instead, its more about surviving and exposing some great issue the characters find out about.
A dystopian atmosphere with that little inofficial hint of queerness. More Science-Fictioney but doesn't disappoint in the storytelling. Anime and Manga of No. 6 are both pretty similar, but I like the manga ending a lot more since it's a bit more detailed and deeper.
