Both have to do with two high school students; a rich guy and a poor/not extremely well off girl. They both get involved with these guys because of their money crisis'. While in Desire Climax, the guy buys the girl as a maid, in Honey x Honey Drops, the guy makes the girl his honey and will pay for her education. Both contain love and smut. The guys play very dominant, controlling roles.

Both of these sort of plots are incredibly similar at first glance, so here I am recommending them for each other.
Okay, so both of these - like many other shoujo smut's - there is a rich guy who has an eye for a poor girl, for whatever reason. In Desire Climax is does eventually reveal why he has an interest for the girl, but in Mitsu x Mistu Drops all you could say is "God knows why".
