Both lead characters are in a [secret] relationship and contain themes about growing up, maturing, and discovering what it means to be in love.
Additionally, both stories emit a very beautiful laid-back, relaxed slice-of-life feel. There are small, yet cute and intimate, moments where you can actually feel the love between the two characters.

Main characters are in a secret relationship with low stakes. Main girl is a tall, soft-spoken athlete and main boy is a short, underdog type character. Relationship is fairly wholesome throughout both series with occasional fan-service moments.
While Fujiyama-san is mostly slice of life, Saotome Senshu has more of a sport plot. Both can be finished in 1-3 days.
