Corpses, corpses and... more corpses.
Albeit the concepts are entirely different, both Mirai Nikki and Elfen Lied depict a very crude and gory visualization of realism that consumes the whole series with its crazy factor (although Elfen Lied is way more intense).
The main female protagonists happen to be anti-heroes as well, having occasional antagonistic personalities throughout the story and resulting to protect the typical weak-minded (at first) male protagonist that once had a normal life.

Both have lots of blood and yanderes as main characters, with lots of kills and similar stories between the main characters.

If you like murder, mystery, and supernaturality, then you'd also enjoy Elefen Lied.
I is a story with a lot of violence with a supernatural blend mixed in. Mirai Nikki hooked me in by the survival aspect and the death of the people in the manga.
Mirai Nikkie is my number one favourite manga and anime, and Elfen Lied still can win me over. I have nt yet finished it, but when I do, I'm sure that it will take my number two spot for manga
Elfen Lied and Mirai Nikki, unlike their anime adaptations IMO, are very similar manga.
The biggest similarity lies in Lucy and Yuno Gasai. Both are pink haired yandere girls. Both manga also start out fairly grounded, but get more crazy and over the top as the series go on. Elfen Lied is much darker and gorier than Mirai Nikki, as it was published in Weekly Young Jump, with Mirai Nikki being published in Monthly Shōnen Ace. Mirai Nikki still has gore and some really dark shit going on, however!
I can see fans of one manga really liking the other, so read these if you haven’t.
