There aren't many manga about acting, but these two can fill the void to what's not there. Kasane and Act-age both involve female protagonists that rise up from the bottom with their outstanding acting skills, and they both are rather dramatic.
Kasane has a darker story, with a bit of supernatural in it, and the protagonist acts from her heart, while Act-age is more realistic, about a girl who acts based on her previous experiences in life.
Both of them show how the protagonists grow as actors and they show how it is to act in different settings, like in TV, plays, etc.
Theatre based both good great art / styles / scenes.

Act-age and Kasane are both manga pertaining to a protagonist who is immensely talented in acting
Both have a similar dark vibe and theme carried throughout its plot. Kasane is definitely a darker manga with a better developed plot but Act-age doesn't fall behind by it's immense knowledge of acting and is an more enjoyable read. Both also grasp you heart and make you fall in love with the characters as well as the plays/movie they are acting in.
If you like one, you will certainly like the other. Highly recommend reading both.
Both mangas are about a young girl in the acting occupation, and both manage to portray acting beautifully. HOWEVER, if you enjoy a darker/psychological thriller/horror-esque tone, then Kasane is a definite recommendation.
Same settings and theme. Both have strong female lead and great rival if i would call it. Also both has some of the most gorgeous volume covers ever
It tells the story of talented stage actors. I think the two authors/ artists portrayed the main character through the panel quite well. You can feel the emotions and atmosphere on each page. Definitely give both a read, they're high-quality stuff.
